【教学过程】
Step 1: Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2: Warming up
Play an English song before class to interest the students.
Step 3: Game
Students hide and look for the sports things in pairs.
Step 4: New words learning
Show the students a picture of a room, tell them this is a bedroom and let the students list the sports things in it first.
Step 5: Work on 1a
Much the words with the things in the picture.
Step 6: A memory test
Show a picture of a room, given the students one minute to look at it, then ask them what kind of things they saw and where the things are.
Step 7: Listening(lb)
Listen and circle the words you hear.
Step 8: Pair work (1c) Make a conversation with your partner.
Step 9: Homework
Copy the new words and try to remember them.

(2)have当动词 “有” 的意思时,句式是:

Step4:Listen(2a,2b)
Play the tape for the students to listen and number the pictures(1-4) .
Listen again. Match the pictures in2a with the balls.
Step5:Group work
Ask some pairs to act out the dialogues in Section A, 2d.

Let’s work on 3a. This is a survey chart. You have to write some more questions about sports equipment in the chart. Using the sentence structure“ Do you have a… ”
Ss write three or more questions about sports equipment.
Step 3: Survey
Now exchange books with your partner. Answer his or her questions in 3a.
You can only check the answers.
Step 4 : Writing
1)Look at the information in 3a. Write about yourself and your partner with but.
2)Ss read the two sentences and try to write their own sentences according to 3a.
3)Ss write their own sentences then report their sentences to their partner.
Step 5: Self Check
1) Let’s work on Self Check. First Ss list all the sports they know. Then discuss with their partner and write what they think of them.
Look at the chart. Here are some short conversations, but the questions are missing. Read the answers then think about the questions. Then write their own sentences.
Step 6: Writing
Write a short passage to introduce your favourite sports.
