Passage 1
Anger is a kind of feeling. Many things can make you angry. When your teacher gives you too much homework, when your team loses an important game, when a friend borrows your favorite thing and then breaks it, you may get really angry.
Usually, your body will tell you when you are angry. For example, you breathe(呼吸) faster, your face turns red, and you may want to break something or hit someone. But sometimes, you hide your anger. For example, you may hide it in your heart. The problem is that if you do this, you may get a headache or your stomach may hurt.
In fact, it's not good to hide your anger, and it's normal for you to get angry sometimes. But anger must be let out in the right way, without hurting others or yourself.
When you get angry, you can talk about it with other people. It's helpful to talk about your anger with an adult, such as parents, a teacher, etc. When you talk about anger, those bad feelings can start to go away. Here are some other things you can do when you start to feel angry: talk to a good friend;count from 1 to 100; give someone a hug; go for a bike ride; think about good things, etc.
Remember that how you act when you are angry can make everything better or worse. Don't let your anger control you.

Sometimes, we all get angry. Did you ever get so angry that you thought you were going to do anything terrible
Sometimes, I can get very angry with someone. It might be my little sister or my big brother, or even my pet dog or cat!
Last Friday, I helped my parents sweep the floor. When I was ready to have a rest, my big brother threw some pieces of paper on the floor. What a mess! However, he thought it was fun. I got so angry with him that I broke a window in the house although I knew it was a terrible thing.
My mom let me sit down and said to me,“Nick, breaking things is never the right way to solve a problem.”When Dad came home from work, he told me that I would have to use the money I got for my twelfth birthday to buy a new window. How I was! Then he said to me, “Using words is always better than hitting or fighting. If you were angry with John, why didn't you tell him about your feeling When you do bad things out of anger, you will always feel sorry for them.”
Although I'm still a little sad, I will always remember what my parents told me that day.

The Changes in My Hometown
In the past, my hometown was very small and people lived a poor life. The houses were old and small. Pollution was very serious, and there was rubbish everywhere. The traffic was not convenient so few visitors came here.
Now great changes have taken place in my hometown. The environment has become more beautiful. The mountains have turned greener, the rivers are clearer , and the sky is bluer. There are trees, flowers and grass everywhere. People live a better life. Their houses are large and bright. Many people have their own ears. Every year, thousands of people from all over the world come to visit our city.
I'm sure it will get richer and more beautiful in the future. I love my hometown.
