第5课时 Part B Let’s learn & Let’s play
教学内容
Let’s learn 学生能够听、说、认读单词“nice, pretty, cheap, expensive”。学生能够在语境中,熟练运用上述单词描述商品的品质及价格。
Let’s play 学生能够将人名、衣物名称以及价格,填写在表格中,再运用句型“Sarah has a pretty dress. It’s 50 yuan. It’s very nice.”进行描述。
教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1. 学生能够听、说、认读并熟练运用单词“nice, pretty, cheap, expensive”。

1. 学生能够综合运用本课时所学单词和句型。

教学过程
Step 1: Warm up
1.Greetings
2. Enjoy the song--How much is that doggie in the window (出示课件)
3. Let’s match
Show the pictures of clothes.(出示课件)
Ask students to look at the pictures and find out the right words. Match the pictures with the words.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Look and say
Show the pictures on the PPT. (课件出示: 各种服装及其价格图)
Let students ask and answer the questions in pairs.
A: How much is/are…
B: It’s…/They’re…
2.Lead-in
Show the picture of “Let’s learn”. (出示课件)
T: Sarah’s birthday is coming. Her mum wants to buy some new clothes for her. Now they go shopping in a clothes shop.
Write down the topic “Shopping” on the blackboard.
3. “pretty”
Show the picture of “Let’s learn”. (出示课件)
T: Look at that pink dress. Sarah likes it. Why does Sarah like it Let’s listen.
(课件出示:Let’s learn音频)
Ss: It’s pretty.
T: Yes, it’s pretty!
Write down the word “pretty” on the blackboard. Students read after the recording.
Show some pictures on the PPT. Students practice the word. (出示课件)
4.“cheap” and “expensive”
Show a picture on the PPT. (出示课件)
T: Look at that dress. It’s ¥450. It’s expensive. And look at that shirt. It’s ¥15. It’s cheap.
Write down the words “expensive” and “cheap” on the blackboard. Students read after the recording.
Show some pictures on the PPT.(课件出示:标有价格高低不同的衣物)
Students look and say “It’s/They’re cheap/expensive.”
5. “nice”
Show the picture of “Let’s learn”. (出示课件)
T: Look at that hat. How much is it
S: It’s ¥20. It’s cheap.
T: Yes, it’s cheap. And it’s very nice, too.
Write down the word “nice” on the blackboard. Then students read after the recording.
Show some pictures on the PPT. Students look at the pictures and practice the word. (出示课件)

Students look at the pictures and describe them with the adjectives “pretty, cheap, expensive, nice”.

2) Fill in the chart
Students fill in the chart by themselves.

Students design their clothes. Then they work in groups to talk about the clothes.
Students show their ads to the class.
