1 without prep.无，没有 eg：I don’t like milk without sugar. 我不喜欢无糖的牛奶。 一:介词without后接名词、代词或动名词等。 eg：He left without saying goodbye. 他不辞而別。 二：【难点】without短语还表不一种条件，意为“如果没有……”，可与if引导的条件状语从句相互转换。 eg：I can’t finish it without your help. =I can’t finish it if you don’t help me. 你不帮忙的话，我就完不成它。 【测一测】Nobody could solve this difficult problem alone others’ help. A. with B. for C.without D. from 2 be afraid of 害怕 考向：相当于be scared of。afraid是形容词，只能做表语，与be/feel连用。常用于以下结构： 结构例句be afraid of sth. /doing sth.害怕某物/做某亊I am afraid of dogs.我怕狗。be afraid to do sth.不敢做某事I’m afraid to go out at night.我不敢晚上 出去。be afraid that ...害 怕……I’m afraid that you have to stay at home.恐怕你不得不呆在家。be afraid so/not 恐怕是/不一Do you have to go now 现在你必须要 走吗？ 一I’m afraid so. 恐怕是的。

I’m afraid not. 3 not ...any more不再，再也不 eg: I’m not late for school any more. 我上学再也不迟到了。 一、not ...any more中的any more常位于句末， 相当于no more,着重强调数量或程度的不再增加，表示“再也没有更多（大）的数量（程度）”。 二、no more常位于句中，用于be动词之后， 行为动词之前。 eg：Amy isn’t my friend any more. = Amy is no more my friend. 埃米不再是我的朋友了。 随堂练习 一、根据首字母或汉语提示完成句子 1.John could dance well (没有）music. 2.He is writing on the blackboard with a piece of (粉笔）. 3. A s lives on the ground, in trees or in water. 4. （骆驼）eat grass and they don’t often drink water. 5.
