一、语篇研读
What自然界充满了生物,所有的生物都需要水和食物来生长,我们所有的生物都是有联系的,我们应该尊重地球和地球上所有的生物。
Why：我们都生活在同一个星球上,所有的生物都是有联系的,我们相互依赖,一旦环境受到了污染,大家都会受到影响,所以我们要尊重地球上所有的生物。
How：我们应该从点滴做起保护地球和地球上所有的生物,呼吁大家都爱护我们的地球和大自然我们的子孙后代才会更加的幸福。
二、教学目标
通过本课的学习，学生能够：
1.能借助读音规律认读并拼写以下单词 ant, die, dead, bee, dove, species, respect，借助上下文猜测理解单词含义。
2.能完成听说读写看活动，积极参加真实语境中的语言实践活动，运用以下目标词汇和句型正确表达主题意义。
短语：start out, live off, die off
句型：The natural world is filled with living things.
They can help you grow big and strong.
We all live on the same planet, and we depend on each other.
If the birds eat the sick or dead fish, they may die off.
3.能读懂本课课文，理解文章大意，选取有关人与自然，生物与自然和保护自然的信息，梳理文章结构，绘制思维导图，掌握基本阅读技能，为写做好铺垫。
4.通过阅读策略，了解人与自然的关系，修正自己的观点，丰富相关知识。
5. 通过学生对阅读内容的深度学习理解和实践运用，培养学生创新迁移能力（判断，评价，批判）。
三、教学过程
Step1: Class opening and review

Show some pictures about living things,then ask students to talk about the questions:
What are they
Do all the living things on the planet depend on one another
What is the relationship between living things and nature
[设计意图] 向学生展示一组图片来说明What are the living things 然后展示一张关于the living things 之间的关系的图片, 与学生就the living things 之间的关系展开交流，在真实情境中引发学生思考问题2，问题3，引导学生进入本课主题。
Step2: New concepts（ detailed详备）
I.New words
Show some pictures and teach new words and expressions.
[设计意图] 看图片学习单词，能吸引学生注意力，直观感受单词对应事物。在语境中，学习运用单词，做到词不离句，让学生更深刻感受单词的用法。
II:Reading
Task1:Read fast and put these sentences in correct order.(Let’s Do It!第一题）

[设计意图] 通过速读课文并将课文每一段的主题句排序，使学生较细致地了解文章脉络。

Nature is a balance between all the living things on the plant.（翻译成汉语）
[设计意图]学生进行细读课文，并独立完成阅读任务，在这一环节中阅读活动的设计能够引导学生深度理解文本，帮助学生了解地球上的生物密切相连的原因。教师以问促读，引导学生充分对话文本，促进学生获取有效信息，转换语言结构的能力，提升听说读技能。此环节中充分体现了学生在课堂学习中的主体地位，给学生自我构建知识的平台，循序渐进的达成本课语言技能目标，从而突破本课教学的重点。
Task3:Read again and fill in the blanks

[设计意图] 通过再次深度阅读课文，让学生熟练掌握文本内容，并具体了解地球上的生物是怎样密切相连的，通过完成填空练习，让学生巩固一些单词和词组的用法。引导学生利用这些词汇复述课文。
III. Language points

3.live off=live on 以……为食，以……为生
4.die (v) 死亡→过去式 died →现在分词dying ,也可做形容词“快要死的”→（adj)dead “死的” →(n）death
die是非延续性动词，与一段时间连用，要用 be dead代替
5.die off意思是“相继死去；灭绝”
die of “死于……；因……而死”，主要指疾病、衰老等自身的原因。
die from “死于……，因……而死”，主要指事故等方面的外部原因。
[设计意图] 讲解重点句子和短语，答疑解惑，落实教学目标。学习语言知识，科学储备大量知识。

[设计意图] 练习巩固所学知识点。
Step4: Extension
拓展：Why are the fish sick or dead 学生分组讨论这个问题，然后用简单的思维导图展示结果。引导学生思考下面的问题What other pollution do you know 出示一些有关污染环境的图片，学生总结污染类型。再次引导学生思考下一个问题How can we save our world 学生针对污染类型，分组讨论应该怎样保护环境，保护自然，每个小组展示讨论的结果，教师最后总结。
[设计意图] 利用真实图片，以问促思，启发学生深度思考，形成个性化观点，给学生提供陈述自己观点、看法的机会，训练学生综合概括和独立思考的能力。以小组合作的形式讨论，借助有效的学习模式降低了任务难度，促使学生就此话题踊跃的表达观点。最终提升学生的保护环境的意识。
IV: Summary
