With so many NYC museums to choose from, it's hard to begin. The good news is that you're in the right place. Below is a highly selective list of museums in New York City.

I have well travelled in Spain and visited a good number of Spanish cities. However, no city will ever quite match C diz, where I spent six months studying as a student.
Before that, I knew very little about C diz but I decided to take a risk and explore it. Well, the risk certainly paid off.
C diz, Europe's oldest city, lies off Spain's southern coast on a peninsula(半岛), almost entirely surrounded by water. As you leave the shady streets of the historic old city and explore more of it, you are met with vast areas of the blue Atlantic Ocean and white sandy beaches, which in my opinion are some of the best in Spain!
One of the great things about C diz is the wonderful, rich culture of food and drink. There are little tapa(小吃) bars lining every street and most will serve tapas for around 1.5-2 euros, meaning you can try a whole variety of Andalusian dishes.
C diz has also come to be known as “The Singing City”. It comes from the annual carnival(狂欢节), one of the biggest festivals in Europe. A very large number of people go to C diz to see it. During those ten days, C diz's narrow streets are filled with the sound of singing as musical groups fight for a place in the contest, which takes place on the last Saturday of carnival. The songs perfectly show the sense of humor of the Gaditanos, who, besides being so warm and welcoming, are said to have the best sense of humor in Spain!
That is my experience of C diz: a wonderful, typically Andalusian city which is often overlooked but well worth a visit. I am currently living in Huelva, just a short drive from C diz, so please pay attention to my next sharing!
24.What does the underlined word “that” in Paragraph 2 refer to
A.Competing in a match. B.Studying in C diz.
C.Teaching a student. D.Becoming an explorer.
25.What does the third paragraph mainly talk about
A.The geographic position and scenery of C diz.
B.The beautiful life of people living in C diz.
C.The unknown origin and long history of C diz.
D.The author's complex attitude towards C diz.
26.Why is C diz called “The Singing City”
A.A number of local people enjoy humorous songs.
B.Many grand carnivals attract well-known singers.
C.Singing is everywhere during a big annual carnival.
D.A lot of singing competitions take place each year.
27.From which is the text most probably taken
A.A geography textbook. B.A post on the Internet.
C.A travel brochure. D.An encyclopedia.

While most TV stations try to attract viewers by producing reality shows, Henan TV has become famous by promoting(推广) traditional culture through Chinese dance. Henan TV produced several dance pieces introducing traditional culture for traditional festivals, such as Rhapsody on the Luo River Goddess (《洛神水赋》), an underwater dance for the Dragon Boat Festival, and Guardian Warriors of Longmen(《龙门金刚 》), a dance piece supported by AR technology against the backdrop of the Longmen Grottoes(石窟).
“These pieces have got nearly 30 billion hits,” says Yao Wei, vice-director of Henan TV. “It's a huge success for Henan TV.”
On Nov. 1, 2021, Yao was invited to talk about how the TV station had produced the hit dance pieces at a three-day forum(论坛) centering on the research into Chinese dance.
“The pieces are popular with audiences, most of whom are Gen Z,” Yao says.
“It's been over forty years since the country's reform(改革) and opening-up and the younger generations have grown up with open minds. They love Chinese culture and are proud of it,” says Yao. “What we need to do is to bring Chinese culture and tradition in interesting ways for those young people.”
Yao adds that Henan TV has been producing shows promoting traditional culture, such as traditional operas and kung fu, for nearly 30 years.
“To allure younger audiences, we are also changing our shows. One of the keys is to produce them with creativity,” Yao says. “For example, the latest technology and special stage settings, like underwater scenes, have become our new ways of telling stories about traditional Chinese culture.”
Another key to successfully reaching younger audiences is using social media to promote their shows.
“Social media is being shaped and driven by young people. It's a powerful form of communication. When they watch short videos, they easily become interested in an eye-catching video,” Yao says.
28.What can we learn about the dance pieces produced by Henan TV

The endangered pandas in the Qinling Mountains might face a new threat:the loss of their food—bamboo, which makes up 99% of their meals.
Adult pandas spend most part of the day eating bamboo and have to take in at least 40 pounds a day to stay healthy. However, a new study published in Nature Climate Change warned that they may soon find their food gone because most of the bamboo in the Qinling Mountains might disappear by the end of the century as a result of rising temperature worldwide.
A team made up of researchers from Michigan State University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences has studied the effects of climate change on the bamboo in the Qinling Mountains. Researchers have found that bamboo is very sensitive to climate change. “80% to 100% of the bamboo will be gone if the average temperature increases 3.5 degrees worldwide by the end of the century,” said Liu Jianguo, one of the report's authors.
He added, “This is how much the temperature would rise by 2100 even if all countries will keep their promises in the Paris Agreement. But you know what is happening around the world.”
In recent years, China has been trying its best to protect the endangered pandas by setting up more and bigger nature reserves.
“But it is far from being enough and the endangered pandas need cooperation from the rest of the world, because their future is not just in the hands of the Chinese,”said Shirley Martin from the World Wildlife Fund but not a member of the team.
There are about 345 pandas in the Qinling Mountains. That is about 18.5% of China's wild panda population.
32.What can we learn from the first paragraph
A.The Qinling Mountains can provide enough bamboo for the pandas.
B.Pandas in the Qinling Mountains are only threatened by the loss of food.
C.Lots of the bamboo in the Qinling Mountains will probably disappear.
D.Pandas have already eaten 99% of the bamboo in the Qinling Mountains.
33.What does Liu Jianguo mean
A.China needs more help from the World Wildlife Fund.
B.It is difficult to control the temperature rise within 3.5℃.
C.Bamboo is sensitive to changes in temperature.
D.China is making great efforts to protect the pandas.
34.How many wild pandas are there in China
A.About 260. B.About 635.
C.About 2,635. D.About 2,000.
35.Which can be the best title for the text
A.The Disappearance of Bamboo
B.Necessity to Change Pandas' Food
C.A New Threat Faced by the Pandas
D.Efforts Made to Save Pandas

第二节(满分25分)
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
It was a hot day in the middle of July. I decided to walk to the neighborhood store where it sold my favorite thing, ice cream. I pulled a friend towards the ice cream store, almost passing out from the burning sun on the way.
As we walked on, my friend kept saying that it was too hot. She thought that she was stupid to decide to come with me to buy ice cream. I felt sorry and tried to encourage her. “We're almost there. Just think of the cool and sweet taste of ice cream in your mouth. It'll be worth the walk,” I told her. But I had to admit that the store was quite a distance from our houses. During the journey, my mouth began to become dry and I wanted to drink.
When we were about a block away from the store, I noticed an old lady who was walking in our direction. She was about 70 years old. She had a big back problem, so she was unable to keep her back straight. She was struggling, pushing a shopping cart full of things like soap, bread and water. With each step toward her, we began to see her appearance more clearly. It appeared that she was often unhappy and easy to get angry.
I looked at my friend to see if she had noticed her. I could see that she had and that she disliked the old lady due to the lady's appearance. As we approached the lady pushing the shopping cart, my friend directed me away from the old lady and the cart.
I began to observe other passers-by. They were also trying to avoid her. Suddenly I heard a terrible sound behind me. I quickly turned around to see what it was. I found the lady's cart had been knocked over by something on the ground.
注意:续写词数应为150个左右。

Then my friend continued walking on,while I went to the lady.

第二节
One possible version:
Things in the shopping cart like the soap all dropped on the ground. I watched in shock as the lady bent down slowly and tried hard to collect her things. I turned to my friend and asked, “Shall we go and help her ” “It is not we who knocked her shopping cart over,” my friend said impatiently, walking ahead. I stood there for a moment, suddenly feeling sorry for this pitiful lady. “I'll help her,” I said with determination.
Then my friend continued walking on,while I went to the lady.“Let me help you,” I said as I helped her get the cart up. The lady looked up and said tearfully, “Thank you!” Then I helped her put things back into her cart. To my surprise, some passers-by joined me, including my friend. With everything put into her cart, my friend and I helped push it to her house. If it were not for the incident, we would have had delicious ice cream to eat, but we didn't feel regretful, for what we did was meaningful.
