 Watching films and listening to songs are great ways to learn English!看电影和听歌曲是很好的英语学习方式。
动词作主语时,要使用“-ing”形式。如果超过一个动词作主语,主语为复数,谓语动词使用相对应的形式。

practise可以写作practice。practice作名词时为不可数名词,意为“练习;实践”。

 Who has some advice? 谁有一些建议?
(1) advice是不可数名词,表示“意见;建议”。“一条建议”应表达为“a piece of advice”,“两条建议”为“two pieces of advice”。
如:You should give him a piece of advice at least.你应该至少给他一条建议。
(2)当表示“有关……的建议”时,用介词on,其后接名词、代词、动名词或“特殊疑问词+不定式”。
如:Can you give me some advice on how to learn English? 你能给我一些关于如何学习英语的建议吗?
 Let’s try to speak English as much as possible.让我们尽可能多地讲英语。
“ as…as possible”表示“尽可能……”。
(1)as many as possible 尽可能多(可数)
如:Use as many new words as possible.尽量多地使用新单词。
(2)as much as possible尽可能多(不可数)
如:Stay together with your family as much as possible.尽可能多地和你的家人待在一起。
 Why not write down our mistakes in our notebooks? 为什么不把错误记在我们的笔记本上呢?
(1)“Why not…?”用来表示提出某种建议,而不是询问不做某事的原因。
Why not+动词原形?=Why don’t you+动词原形?
如:Why not (=Why don’t you) go with me?(你)为什么不和我一起去呢?
如:Why not (=Why don’t you) call on me tomorrow? 为什么(你)明天不来看我呢?
(2)write down写下;记下
该短语由“动词+副词”构成,后面若接代词作宾语,要用代词的宾格形式,且要放在write与down之间;若接名词作宾语,名词放在down前后均可。
如:Take out a piece of paper and write them down carefully.拿出一张纸,并把它们仔细地记下来。
(3)mistake n.错误;过错

如:What mistake did Lingling make? 玲玲犯了什么错误?

else和other
(1)else常用于疑问词或不定代词之后。
如:Do you have anything else to say? 你有什么其他事要说吗?
(2)other是形容词,常放在名词之前。
如:He gets on well with other children in the school.他在学校里与其他孩子能很好相处。
 It’s a good idea to spell and pronounce new words aloud every day.每天拼写并大声地朗读新单词是个不错的主意。
It’s a good / great / wonderful idea to do sth. 做……是个很好的主意
“It is+形容词 / 名词+to do sth.”为固定句型,其中it是形式主语,真正的主语是动词不定式短语“to do sth.”。
如:It’s not easy to learn a foreign language well.学好一门外语不容易。
 How about listening to the radio? 听收音机怎么样?
How about…?=What about…? 意为“……怎么样?”,用来征求别人的意见、询问消息或提出建议等。
(1)How / What about 后可接名词或代词,接代词时要用宾格形式。
如:We have Chinese at ten o’clock.How / What about you? 我们在十点上语文课。你(们)呢?
(2)How / What about 后接动词时,须用v.-ing形式。
如:How / What about going shopping on Sunday? 周日去购物怎么样?
 I agree with you.我同意你(的建议)。
(1)agree with作“同意某人的意见”解,其后可跟表示人的名词或代词。
如:He agreed with me.他同意了我的意见。
(2)agree to do sth.意为“同意做某事”,agree to sth.表示“同意计划 / 条件 / 建议等一类的名词或代词”。
如:My father agreed to buy a new pen for me.父亲答应给我买支新钢笔。
They have agreed to our plan.他们已同意我们的计划。
(3)agree on指双方通过协商而取得一致意见或达成协议,后接名词或动名词。
如:Both sides agreed on these terms.双方都同意这些条件。
He agreed on helping us.=He agreed to help us.他同意帮助我们。
