教学内容分析
本单元学习内容为现在进行时的基本问答。本课时为本单元的第一课时教学,教学内容为story time,文本内容讲述了Mike一家上午和下午分别进行的活动。要求学生初步理解感知现在进行时,并掌握相关的家务的动词词组。
教学目标
1. 能听懂、会读、会说单词:eleventh eighth together. 2. 能听懂、会读、会说日常用语:When’s your birthday What do you do on your birthday 及回答It’s on… I usually… 3. 能正确的理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。 4. 能了解中西方文化中不同的生日风俗习惯,能学会感恩父母。

教学重点:能正确理解并朗读课文,在教师的帮助下尝试复述课文。 教学难点:能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型询问别人的生日以及如何过生日。

Step1. Pre-reading 1. Free talk. What day is it today What date is it today What’s the weather like today May is a nice month. It’s usually warm and sunny. There are many festivals in May. 结合研究主题进行评析
本课单词词汇上的教学并不难,在听过几遍录音后,学生大多能基本无误地读出课文。但仅仅是单纯的读,求快,语调拖沓、没有升降,与原音相比差别较大。对于高年级的学生来说,不能忽视朗读的美感。教师对于难度较低的文本,应加强朗读指导,注重升降调,长句的停顿,以及单词的发音到位,并注意融入情感,切实走入课文,不要让英语朗读变成“和尚念经”。
