本课是第七单元的第一课时，要求学生在情境中学会用What are these/those 来询问并且用They’re…s.来回答，并能初步感受名词复数的用法。
教学目标
1、知识目标：能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇：farm, they, pig, these, those, cow, apple, pear以及句型Welcome to... What are these/those They’re... Are these/those... Yes, they are./No, they aren’t. 2、能力目标：能让学生在具体的情景中正确运用所学句型What are these/those They’re... Are these/those... Yes, they are./No, they aren’t. 3、情感目标：借助英语学习，培养学生关爱动植物、热爱大自然的情操。

本课的教学中单词难度并不大，与农场有关的单词学生也较感兴趣，可以在知道朗读的时候，适当加入一些动物声音的模仿，让诵读变得更加生动有趣。
