In early 2020, a disease called COVID-19(新冠肺炎) hit Wuhan. Tens thousands of Chinese people were infected(感染). Zhong Nanshan, 84-year-old, went to Wuhan with seven doctors to fight(抗击) the illness(疾病), instead of eating the hot-dry noodles.
Zhong’s team took many ways to cure(治疗) the people with COVID-19. He asked people to wear masks, stay at home and not to go to crowded(拥挤的) places to keep away from the COVID-19.
Zhong likes sports very much. He could still play basketball when he was 67. Now at the age of 84, Zhong still work in the hospital. “I am just a doctor.” Zhong says. But we think he is a fighter and a hero.
