结构 Which hobby do you think takes up the most space Let me have a look. Can I see them People often give me fans as presents because they know I like them.
教学方法 Task-based language teaching; the communicative approach
教学目标 在看、听、说的活动中获取、梳理有关于爱好的具体信息。 在听说活动中,掌握记笔记(note-taking)的微技能。 根据语音语调的变化推断说话人的情感态度。 运用所学语言多角度提问,获取关于爱好的信息。 5.利用评价表进行自评及互评,评价本节课的学习成果。
教学重点 在语境中,运用所学语言知识(语音、词汇、语法、语篇、语用)介绍自我及他人爱好,描述个人爱好发展的经历,以及爱好所带来的好处,明确培养良好爱好的重要性。
教学难点 1. 引导学生发散思维,从不同角度设计问题,获取关于爱好的信息。 2. 学生在访谈过程中,关注语音语调与说话人的情感态度,采用恰当的交际策略。

Warming-up Get to know the module task and the unit task: have an interview on hobbies. School TV Station needs English reporters for the program “Story on Hobby”.
Lead-in Have a free talk on hobbies.
Pre-listening Know about the hobby of collecting things and get ready for the listening task. Learn new words with the help of pictures. Answer the following questions: (1) Do you collect anything (2) What do people usually collect (3) Where do people get them (4) Why do people collect things 2. Listen and find out who collects the things in the pictures.
While-listening 1. Listen and take notes to find out their collections. 2. Listen for more information about their collections and answer the questions: (1) Where did Lingling get the fans (2) What does Lingling think of Betty’s collection (3) Why does Tony collect tickets (4) In Lingling’s opinion, why do people collect things 3. Listen and notice the intonation then read in roles and try to imitate the change of intonation.
Post-listening 1. Get an example from the teacher on questions about hobbies. 2. Discuss in groups and write down the questions they want to ask. 3. Present an interview in front of the class. Do peer-assessment and self-assessment according to the assessment form. 4. Get a better understanding of “hobby” and think about theirs.
Homework Must do: Design a questionnaire on hobbies and have an interview with your classmates. Choose to do: Make your interview into a video.
