1. Importance in Thailand:
The elephant is one of Thailand’s symbols. The first flag has a white elephant on it.
This is a symbol of good luck.
Ability:
Elephants can play soccer. They can also draw very well. An elephant never forgets. They can walk for a long time and never get lost. They can also remember places with food and water.
Facts:
Elephants are in great danger. People cut down many trees so elephants are losing their home. People also kill elephants for their ivory.
How to save elephants:
We must save the trees and not buy things made of ivory. Remember March 13th is Thai Elephant Day.

1) lost 作为形容词，表示“走失的；迷路的；失散的”、“丢失的；遗失的”，常与系动词get 或be 一同构成短语，表示“丢失；走失；迷路”。例如：

真是倒霉！我的钥匙又丢了。
I got lost on my way here and had to ask the police for help. 我在来这的路上迷路了，不得不向警察求助。

2) lost 还经常直接用于名词之前，作定语修饰名词。例如：
a lost child 走丢了的孩子
