I (Robinson Crusoe) jumped up and ran with Friday down to the beach. To my great surprise, I saw that it was an English ship! But why was it here English ships never came this way. Maybe they were pirates (海盗)! “Don’t let them see you, Friday,” I called. “We’ll hide in the trees and watch.”
There were eleven men on the boat, but three of them were prisoners (俘虏). Their arms were tied with rope, but their legs were free and they could walk. The other men took the three prisoners to the beach, laughing and shouting and hitting them. Then some of them sat down on the sand and began to drink. Others walked away to look at the island, and two men stayed to watch the boat. The three prisoners walked slowly along the beach and sat down under a tree, not far from us. They looked very unhappy.
Very quietly, I came up behind them, and called out to them in English. “Don’t be afraid,” I said. “I'm an Englishman. Maybe I can help you.”
The three men turned and looked at me. They did not answer at once; they were too startled. Maybe they thought I was a wild (野蛮的) man myself, in my strange home-made clothes of animals’ skins (皮), and with my long hair and beard.
Then the oldest man said, “I am the captain (船长) of that ship, and these two men are my first and second officers. Last night the seamen took the ship from me. Now they’re going to leave the three of us here.”
“Do they have guns (枪) ”
“Only two,” he answered, “and they've left them on the boat.”
“All right,” I said. “We’ll fight them, but if we get your ship back for you, you must take me back to England.”
The captain agreed immediately ...

them die. The best time to plant trees is autumn or early spring.
Choose the right tree. Look around and find out what trees are growing well in your area. Usually, it’s better to choose one of them.
Prepare the hole. Dig a hole that is 2-3 times bigger than the root ball, not just enough, so it will fit. This lets the roots grow better.
Put the tree into the hole gently. Be sure the hole isn't too deep or too shallow.
Water the newly planted tree. Provide 4 litres of water for every six inches of the tree.
Cover it with leaves. Fill the planting hole with 1-3 inches of dry leaves.
Water it again. After the planting is finished, come back in about an hour and water one more time.
Enjoy the tree as it grows over the years with your family and friends.

Do you know the Global Teacher Prize It is a prize to celebrate the work of teachers. The organizers believe that good teachers can change the lives of their students for the better.
The prize started in 2014. It is open to all teachers in every country of the world. In its first year, over 5,000 teachers from 127 countries took part. So far, the winners have come from the US, Palestine, Canada, the UK and Kenya. The subjects they teach are varied too, including Maths, English and Art. Every year the winner gets $1,000,000 to spend on education in their community.
One of the winners was a teacher called Peter Tabichi. He teaches in a village school in Kenya. His class, like all the classes in his school, has over 50 students in it. Most of his students are from very poor families and
the school doesn't have any classroom furniture. It only has one computer and very slow Internet.
To help his students, Tabichi started a “talent club”. Some of them have even taken part in international science competitions. He also gives help to students with difficulties and meets their families from time to time. As a result, more teenagers have started going to the school. In only three years, Tabichi's school has grown from 200 to 400 students.

范文
Recently, an increasing number of young people are returning to their home towns to start their own business. Some try to set up factories, some choose to grow fruit trees, and others decide to raise animals like sheep. There are even those who help farmers sell their products through livestreaming.
I think this change is driven by young people’s desire to realize their own value through their hard work. Also, they hope to drive villagers to become rich.
In my opinion, the decision of these young people to return to and serve their home towns is a good thing. They set a good example for other young people, especially those living and working in cities. Besides, they play an important role in the development of beautiful countryside.
