一、教材分析:
《He spent about twenty - one hours in space.》 是新标准英语六年级下册第七模块第一单元的内容。课文围绕杨利伟乘坐神舟五号宇宙飞船飞入太空的伟大事迹展开,要求学生掌握过去时的用法。本课文在复习过去时的基础上,渗透对过去式的运用并描述过去发生的事,并且进行大量的巩固练习。
二、教学目标:
㈠ 知识目标:
1、能听懂、会说并认读单词: flew (fly), spent (spend),about , video, proud, someday;
2、能听懂、会说并认读下列句型:
⑴. He spent about twenty-one hours in space.
⑵. In October2003, my father flew into space in Shenzhou V.
⑶. He made a video in space
⑷. I was very proud of him.
3、在课文教学中培养学生的阅读能力,从而提高他们的综合语言运用能力。
㈡ 能力目标:
1、能听说读写本课的单词和课文。
2、能听懂课文内容,并能回答与课文相关的问题。
3、能根据图片或实际情况,运用过去式描述本课杨利伟及神州五号的故事;
(三)情感目标
1、让学生通过运用语言来完成学习任务,感受成功,从而引发和培养学生学习英语的内在动机,最终使他们形成英语学习的积极态度。
2、通过学习杨利伟的事迹,激发强化学生的学习兴趣,并培养学生的爱国热情,对学生进行理想教育,教育学生要为了自己理想的实现而不懈努力。
三、教学重点、难点
㈠重点:
认读、理解和使用句型.

(二)难点:
运用过去式描述过去发生的事情,能运用所学知识进行信息加工、输出信息。
四、教学策略:
在教学中,以学生为主体,以真实生活情景为学生搭建文本阅读支架、情景支架、情感支架,便于学生深层次挖掘文本里隐含的信息。灵活运用多种教学方法,引导学生在参与、体验、合作与交流中,主动获取知识,提高语言运用能力,达成语言运用的目标。

六、教学过程:
Step 1 Warm-up(热身)
1. Greeting.
2. Guessing game.
Guess, what’s this It’s a spaceship.
【设计意图:通过free talk,让学生思维动起来,既能调动学生积极性,又能复习以前学过的知识。】
Step 2 Presentation(新知呈现)
1. Lead in.
Whose spaceship is it Let’s have a look.
【设计意图:通过观看活动1视频,带着问题学习课文,学习单词flew】
2. Follow the tape and read the text.
【设计意图:通过学生跟读课文,朗读课文,进行预热,为下面更好地学习做准备。】
Step 3 Text learning (课文学习)
“The alien flew to the earth.” means “The alien had a space travel.” Do you like space travel Are you interested in space travel Today we will learn something about space travel.
1. New words learning.
⑴.Read the text by yourself, and find the new words.(初读课文)
⑵.Learn the new words. (利用多媒体教授单词,学生通过平板自己练习。) ⑶.Have a check.,read the words as quickly as you can.

2. Text learning.
⑴.Watch and think.(观看课文视频,回答相关问题)

⑵. Answer the questions.(逐一回答问题,通过答案学习过去时态)
⑶.Practice the past tense.(学生通过平板对动词及其过去式进行训练,为后面的课文复述打基础)
⑷. Watch and fill in the blacks:(看课文视频并选词填空)
