Classic book never go out of fashion. The book Outsider first came out in 1967. But even though the book is old, it is still worth reading. It is written by US writer S. E. Hinton.
The book tells the story of a 14-year-old boy called Ponyboy Curtis. He struggles with right and wrong in a society where he believes he is an outsider. The story took place in Oklahoma, US, in 1965.
In the book, the children are divided into two groups. One includes Curtis and Greasers, which are mostly made up of poor kids. They have longer hair and often smoke at a young age. The other group is called the Socs, which is made up of rich children. They wear expensive clothes and drive high-tech cars. Those two groups do not get along well. The book only shows us two weeks of the boy’s life forever.
I was touched by the friendship among the boys. When any of them had a problem, the others would help. Although they are not well educated (教育), they are kind and brave. For example, when Johnny was hurt and in hospital, his friends visited him almost every day. They brought him food and told him interesting stories. I always dreamed of having kind and strong friendships like this.
This book shows the beautiful personalities (品质) in those ordinary people. I advise that teenagers read this book and I hope they can enjoy it.

Handshakes, kisses, hugging…people all over the world greet each other in different ways. Because of the outbreak of COVID-19, people are changing how they greet each other to stop the virus from spreading(传播). They have come up with some good ways to say hello.
France
French people love to kiss on the cheek, even between people who have only just met. As kissing and handshaking may spread the virus, a French expert says simply looking into a person′s eyes is good enough as a greeting.

In Iran, a video has gone viral(在网上快速传播的) online. It shows three friends meeting, hands in their pockets, and two of them hitting their feet lightly against each other as a greeting. It seems to be a good way to replace their traditional greetings—handshaking and hugging.
UAE
A nose-to-nose greeting is popular in the United Arab Emirates(阿拉伯联合酋长国). People there rub (摩擦) their noses together upon meeting or leaving each other′s company. Now UAE′s Health and Prevention Ministry is advising people to stop this traditional greeting. It also said that people shouldn′t shake hands, kiss or hug. Over the past 40 years, Du Dejian, a teacher, has received quite a lot of visitors at the library he built in his home in Zhangfang Village of Yongji, Shanxi Province.
During the planting season around 1980, he noticed different kinds of difficulties from his neighbors as a result of their poor knowledge. He decided to build a library in his village.
