这是一个含有形容词比较级的句子。
比较级用于两者或两类事物之间的比较,意为“更……,较……”。通常用从属连词than连接,表示比较。
比较级的结构:A +have/has+形容词比较级+名词+ than +B;A +be+形容词比较级+than +B。

注意:反意疑问句是由两部分组成的,前一部分是对事物的陈述(即陈述句),后一部分是简短的提问(即简短疑问句),中间用逗号隔开。如果前一部分用肯定句,后一部分就用否定疑问句;两部分的人称和时态要一致。

(1) both在此处用作代词,意为“两者,双方”,常位于连系动词be、情态动词或助动词之后,实义动词之前。
e.g.They both like English. 他们都喜欢英语。
(2)both单独作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式;
both of后接名词、代词的复数形式,接名词时,名词前要有定冠词the或形容词性物主代词(me, your...)。
e.g.Both of my friends are outgoing. 我的朋友们都很活泼。
(3)both用作形容词,意为“两者的、双方的”,其后接名词的复数形式。
e.g. Both my sisters go to university.
我的姐妹们都上大学了。
(4)both用作副词,常用于both...and...结构中,意为“既……又 ……;……和 ……都”。用来连接两个并列的成分,若连接两个主语时,谓语动词应用复数形式。
e.g. Both Tom and I are kind of unhealthy.

“A+谓语+as+形容词/副词+as+B”,表示“A和B一样……”,否定形式就是“…not so/as+形容词/副词+as…”,表示“……不如……”。
“A+比较级+than+比较的对象”,than前要用形容词或副词的比较级形式。
