Module 4 Unit 1 Will you take your kite 教学设计
一、教学目标
1、语言知识目标:
(1)通过以旧引新,借助卡片等形式,90%的学生对重点单词take , fly , picnic,great,why,because,so做到熟练认读。
(2)通过任务活动的引导,90%的学生通过小组合作,运用本课的目标句型Will you take your —tomorrow Yes, I will. / No, I won’t. I will take —.并能在真实情景中正确运用。
2、语言技能目标:
(1)能在录像的帮助下理解人物简单的话语。
(2)能在真实的语言情景中交流,提高学生的交际能力和实践能力。。
3、情感态度、学习策略目标:
(1)培养学生学习英语的积极性,帮助他们建立英语学习的成就感和自信心,形成的良好的学习策略。
(2)通过看录像,感知对话内容,学会捕捉对话中重要信息的听力技巧。通过角色扮演、创设交际情景等语言实践活动,增强对所学英语的体验,形成正确的交际策略,提高用英语做事情的能力。
(3)最后通过欣赏图片,对学生进行了:爱护家园文明出行的情感教育。
二、教学重难点
Will结构是本册重点学习内容之一,在本单元中其语用目的是询问计划,以便自己制定相应计划。因此将本课的重点确定为:
灵活运用重点句型Will you take… 以及回答Yes, I will. No, I won’t.
难点:理解一般将来时态,学会制定计划。
三、教具准备
课件、a CD、卡片等
四、评价设计
1、 通过师生、生生的问答操练、检测题、对话表演等教学活动,对学生对本课重难点知识的掌握程度进行评价,达成语言知识目标。
2、通过看录像、听音、跟读仿读、角色扮演等活动,及时了解学生的语言运用能力,达成语言技能目标。
3 、通过学生结对、小组合作等学习活动,学生互帮互助,树立学习自信心,从而提高其交际能力及实践能力,达成情感态度、学习策略目标。
五、教学过程
Step 1: Warming up
1.Greetings

T: Now spring is coming . What will you do on Saturday
S: I will …
3.Look , what will the bird and the cat do Now let’s watch the CD-ROM .
T:Who can read sentences.
S1:I will fly.
S2:I will fly too.
S3:Will you fly
S4:No,I won’t.(引导学生初步学习No,I won’t . )
T:Listen and imitate.
【设计意图】通过free talk ,激发了学生的学习兴趣,营造了英语学习的氛围,复习了第三模块学习的新句型I will … ,同时通过学习模块一的“Will you… No,I won’t.学习为后面学习新句型做好铺垫。
Step 2: Lead-in
T:May Day is coming.I’m going to have a picnic . I will take my … (大屏幕出示一些野餐用品,帮助理解picnic野餐,)
Will you go with me
Ss: Yes, I will. / No, I won’t.
T: Who will go with me on Saturday (Some students hands up.)
T:Are you happy
Ss: Yes.
【设计意图】师生自由交谈中,简单了解新单词picnic,渗透了新句型I will take….教师提出的话题也为新授课之后的任务操练做好铺垫。
Step 3: Presentation
T: Show a picture of Sam and Amy.(Sam 和 Amy非常高兴的样子.)
T: Look at Sam and Amy ! They are very happy too!They are shouting :Great!(引出great) Why are they so happy (渗透why) Let’s watch the CD-Rom.
T:Yes, because they are going to have a picnic.(渗透because, 利用picture旧词引新词picnic,)
T: When are they going to have a picnic
Ss:Get the answer: On Saturday.
T:On Saturday,we are you going to have a picnic.
Ss:Great!
2. Watch the video again and learn the main sentences.
T:They are going to have a picnic on Saturday. Let’s watch the CD-Rom.and answer the questions.
(1) Will Amy take the kite tomorrow
(2) Will Amy take the ball tomorrow
Ss:Get the answer: No.
T: How did Sam ask Amy
Bb: Will you take your kite tomorrow
T: 利用cake, lake, make引出 take的读音 (屏幕出示)
T: How did Amy answer ( No , I won’t . )(师生、男女、生生问答练习)
T:T shows sentences:
Will you take your ball tomorrow
No,I won’t.
Ask and answer the main sentences in pairs.
T: Amy won’t take her kite tomorrow. She won’t take her ball tomorrow. Why not (Bb)Read the dialogue by yourself , and find the answers .
启发、帮助学生回答:Tomorrow is Friday. It’s not Saturday. But Sam thinks tomorrow is Saturday. So Amy will take her kite and ball on Saturday.
【设计意图】本环节主要是帮助学生理解对话大意,呈现重点知识。学生带着不同问题,两次观看CD-ROM,问题难度不断递增,使学生对课文的理解逐渐加深。寻找答案的过程就是理解课文和呈现重点的过程。
Step 4: Controlled practice
1.Listen and imitate. Pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation.(Watch the video and repeat)
2.Read by yourself.
3.Read in roles, T—dad, Boys— Sam, Girls—Amy. Then students play in role.
【设计意图】充足的机械操练帮助学生熟悉文本,使新授语言材料更容易上口。
Step 5: Practice
1、Say in pairs: 教师出示句子:Will you take your__________ ___________.变换不同的图片让学生根据图片补全句型。
Ask an answer:大屏幕展示图片,以师生、生生的形式 进行“Will you take your… Yes, I will./No, I won’t.问答练习。
Talk about in group.教师通过图片创设情景,学生根据大屏幕上提供的图片在小组内创编对话进行交流。
In Hainan:
T: We are going to Hainan. Will you take your T-shirt
Ss: Yes, I will.
T: Why
Ss: Hainan is very hot.
At school:
T: Will you take your dog
Ss: No, I won’t.
T: Why not
Ss: Because ….
然后放手让学生问答:
【设计意图】创设情境,布置任务,设置信息差,在任务驱动之下,师生之间、生生之间展开对话。既操练了Will you take… ,等重点句型,又提高了语用能力。当学生在讨论的过程中会用到大量的物品,同时对所学名词进行回顾和运用。
Step 7: Consolidation

教学方法:对话、说唱
教学过程:
(一)导入:Warming up: Look say and act: hot cold rain sunny snow windy (复习学过的有关天气的形容词,为本课的学习打好基础)
(二)探究新知Presentation:
Show a map pf China. Write city’s name on the map.
Show the cards of weather to students. And listen to the tape then point to the pictures.
Draw the simple pictures on the board. And write the words.
Learn the words and draw the pictures in the exercise books. (同时讲解 rain与 rainy 的区分)
Show the robot to the students and say “The robots will do everything. So the robots will broadcast the weather, too. Now let’s act. Listen again and repeat the text then act (表演机器人天气预报员,以小组的形式操练句型)
Show CAI to students. (看课件,模仿并跟读,引出本课的重点句子,板书句子。)
(三)巩固新知Practice: Game: Listen and stick. Listen to tape and stick the cards on map. ( 听一听,贴一贴的活动调动了学生的积极性,训练了学生的听做能力。它是让学生听到某地的天气情况,把相关的图片与城市连在一起。)
Do this game in groups or in pairs.
Do the exercises in AB.
(4) Production: Look at the CAI and ask “What will the weather be ”
(出示各种天气的课件,展开游戏,让学生运用 “Will it ______________ ” 来提问。)
