Long long ago, there was a slave(奴隶) who lived a very hard life in his master’s house. One day, he couldn’t stand(承受) it any more and ran away. When he was walking through the forest, he found a lion moaning(呻吟) sadly with one leg in the air. He saw that there was a thorn(刺) in its paw. The salve took a deep breath, and walked toward the lion bravely. He helped the lion pull the thorn out. The lion looked at the slave for a while when then walked away.
