We don’t know much about Lady Xin Zhui’s (辛追夫人) life. She lived in the 2 century BCE. She was the wife of an official (官员) named Li Cang. Historians (历史学家) think that she died around the age of 50.
Over 2, 000 years later, in the 1970s, Lady Xin Zhui’s tomb (墓穴) was found in Changsha. To everyone’s surprise, her body was still in good condition (状态). But sadly, historians couldn’t recognize her face.
