1、What does family mean to you “家庭对你来说意味着什么?”(教材第27页) 考频:★★☆
(1)mean 是动词,意思是“意味着”“意思是”“打算”。其用法如下:
①mean sth.意味着…
Success means a lot to him. 成功对他意味着很多。
②mean doing sth.意味着做某事
Giving up smoking means taking good care of your health. 戒烟意味着好好照顾你的健康。
③mean to do sth. 打算做某事
I mean to go to the park this weekend. 我打算这个周末去公园。
(2)family名词,此处意为“家;家庭”,还可指“家庭成员”,其具体用法如下:
①家;家庭,谓语动词用单数
②家庭成员 谓语动词用复数
 Her family is big. 她的家庭很大。
 Her family are all tall. 她的家人个子都很高。
2、一Are these your ... 这些是你的父母吗?
 一Yes,they are.是的,他们是。(教材第28页1d) 考频:★★★
(1)“Are these ”意为“这(些)是……吗?”,是“These are…”的一般疑问句形式;“Are those… ”意为“那(些)是……吗?”,是“Those are…”的一般疑问句形式。其答语中的主语都用they。
 Are those/these ...?
 肯定回答:Yes,they are.
 否定回答:No.they aren't.
  —Are those your rulers' 那些是你的直尺吗?
  一Yes,they are. 是的,它们是。

 “Is this/that… ”意为“这/那是……吗?”,其肯定回答为“Yes,it is.”否定回答为“No,it isn't.”
  一Is this your eraser 这是你的橡皮吗?

(2)they是人称代词主格形式,意为“他(她、它)们”,为人称代词he、she、it的复数形式,在句中作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式(be动词用are)。
  They are brothers. 他们是兄弟。
3、Whose fishing rods are those 那些是谁的钓鱼竿?(教材第29页2a) 考频:★★☆
whose的用法:
“whose”主要用于对人或物的所有者进行提问,即“谁的”。它既可以用来修饰名词,也可以单独使用。对物主代词或名词所有格划线提问,疑问词用whose,但who主要用于对人进行提问,即“谁”。如:
Whose bag is this 这是谁的包?
Whose is this bag 这包是谁的?
Those are Mike’s pens.(对划线部分提问)→ Whose pens are those /Whose are those pens

spend 是动词,意思是“花费,度过”
He spends two hours (in) reading every day. (他每天花费两小时读书。)
拓展:表示“花费”的几个动词(spend、take、cost、pay)
spend: ① sb. + spend +时间/钱 + on sth. 某人在某事上花费多长时间/多少钱
I spend a lot of time on my homework. (我在家庭作业上花费很多时间。)
② sb. + spend +时间/钱 + (in)doing sth. 某人在干某事上花费多长时间/多少钱
They spend a lot of money (in) traveling. (他们花费很多钱去旅游。)
take : It takes + sb. + 时间+ to do sth . 花费某人多长时间干某事。
It takes me two hours to finish my homework every day. 我每天用两个小时完成我的家庭作业。
cost:sth. + cost + sb. + 钱 某物花费某人多少钱。
The shirt cost me78 yuan yesterday. 昨天这件衬衣花了我78元。
pay:sb. + pay +钱 +for sth. 某人花多少钱买某物
I paid 20 yuan for a T-shirt last week. 上周我花了20元买了一件T恤。

really是副词,主要有以下几种用法:
①表示强调事实或真相
It's really cold today.(今天真的很冷。)
②用于加强语气
I really like this movie.(我真的非常喜欢这部电影。)
well通常作为副词,修饰动词,如在这个句子中修饰play,表示“好地”“出色地”
She sings well, so she can join the music club. 她歌唱得好,所以她能加入音乐俱乐部。
拓展:well和good的辨析
词性不同:good是形容词,well是副词。如:
Her son is a good student.她儿子是一个好学生。
All went well.一切顺利。(well是副词修饰动词went)
所修饰词不同:good作形容词修饰名词,或作表语,well修饰动词,副词,形容词。
She is a good girl.她是一个好女孩。(good在此修饰girl)
He plays basketball very well.他打篮球特别棒。(well在此修饰动词play)
关于身体健康状况,要用well,不能用good。
I’m very well,thanks. 我身体很好,谢谢。
6、He is really funny, and he often makes us laugh. 他真的很有趣,并且他经常让我们大笑。(教材第31页3c) 考频:★★☆
make 是动词,意思是“使、让”,其用法如下:
① make sb. + 动词原形 “让某人干某事”。
The story makes us laugh. 这个故事让我们大笑
② make sb. + 形容词 “使/让某人怎么样”
The story is very moving. It makes me sad.这个故事非常感人,它让我很难过。
拓展:make还可以表示“制作、做”
My mother made me a big dinner yesterday . 昨天我妈妈为我做了一顿丰盛的晚餐。
=My mother made a big dinner for me yesterday .
7、She is short, and she has long brown hair. ...I’m not tall or short. 她很矮,并且她有长长的棕色头发。……我不高也不矮。(教材第31页3c) 考频:★★☆
描述人的外貌时的常用句型
1)当描述人的身高或体形时,常用以下结构:
sb.+be+表示身高或体形的形容词/介词of引导的短语。如:
My brother is of medium build. 我哥哥是中等体格。
2)当描述人的身体某一部位的特征时,常用结构为:
sb.+have/has+形容词+表示身体部位的名词。如:
He has a big nose.他长着个大鼻子。
or的主要用法:
1)表示选择,意为“或者”“还是”。如:
Do you want tea or coffee (你想要茶还是咖啡?)
2)在否定句中连接两个并列成分,意为“也不”。如:
He doesn't like singing or dancing.(他既不喜欢唱歌也不喜欢跳舞。)
拓展:and与or区别
1.并列结构中,and用于肯定句,or通常用于否定句中,表示“和,与”之意。
Sue and I left early.我和休早离开了。
He can't read or write.他不会读也不会写。
2.or用在选择疑问句中,意为“或者,还是”。and不可用于疑问句。
Are you coming or not 你来还是不来?
 Is your sister older or younger than you 你的姐妹比你大还是小?
3.固定搭配不同
(1)or在句型“祈使句+or+陈述句”中,表示在以祈使句为条件下的相反假设,or意为“否则,要不然”。
(2)either...or意为“或者……或者……”。注意谓语动词的主谓一致采用就近原则。
8、I also like playing tennis. 我也喜欢打网球。(教材第31页3c) 考频:★★☆
also 表示 “也”,位置放在句中。如:
She also likes swimming. 她也喜欢游泳。
拓展:辨析too,also和either
“also”用于肯定句中,表示“也”,通常放在行为动词之前,系动词、助动词或情态动词之后。如:
He is also a good student.他也是个好学生。
“too”表示“也”,用于肯定句末,并且常用逗号与前面内容隔开。如:
He is a good student. I am a good student, too. 他是一名好学生,我也是一名好学生。
“either”用于否定句末,表示“也(不)”。如:
He can't swim. I can’t swim, either. 他不会游泳,我也不会。
like 是动词,表示“喜欢” 。其用法如下:
①like sth.喜欢某物
I like the red shirt. 我喜欢那件红色衬衣。
②like doing sth.喜欢做某事 (表示长时间喜欢做某事,表示兴趣爱好)
I like swimming. 我喜欢游泳。
③ like to do sth. 想去做某事 (表示偶尔一次喜欢做某事或突然喜欢做某事)
She likes to swim this afternoon. 她今天下午想游泳。(特指某一次的动作)
拓展:like作介词,表示“像”,词组:look like 看起来像
9、Here’s a photo of us. 这儿是我们的一张照片。(教材第32页1b) 考频:★★☆
(1)本句是一个倒装句,其正常语序为“A photo of us is here.”。当here置于句首时,句子常用倒装语序,其结构为“Here十谓语动词十主语(名词).”,句中谓语动词的单复数要视其主语而定。
  Here are some pens.. 这里有些钢笔。
  Here is a pen. 这里有一支钢笔。
【名师提醒】
  在here开头的句子中,当主语是代词时,句子不倒装,即“Here十主语(代词)十谓语动词”。
  Here you are. 给你。
  Here they come. 他们过来了。
 (2)here副词,意为“这就是;在这里”,其反义词为there,它们均可用以介绍某人或某物的位置。
  I am here. 我在这儿。
 (3)photo为可数名词,意为“照片”,其复数形式为photos。常用短语take a photo/photos,意为“照相;拍照”。
  That's an old photo. 那是一张旧照片。
 (4)of介词,意为“属于(某人或某物);关于(某人或某物)”,通常用于表示无生命的东西的所属关系。
That is a map of China. 那是一张中国地图。
10、This is my dad,Fred.这是我的父亲,弗雷德。(教材第32页1b)  考频:★☆☆
句中Fred作my dad的同位语,跟在my dad的后面,对其做进一步解释或说明。
介绍别人:This is... 这是...... (this is 不能缩写this’s)
These are .... 这些是......

如:That is my brother, Bob. 那是我的哥哥/弟弟,鲍勃。
介绍自己: My name is ...

单元语法
一、指示代词
1)定义
  英语中表示“这个”“那个”“这些”“那些”等指示概念的代词叫作指示代词。
2)分类及用法
近指 this 指时间或空间上较近的人或事物,指代或修饰可数名词单数
these 指时间或空间上较近的人或事物,指代或修饰可数名词复数
远指 that 指时间或空间上较远的人或事物,指代或修饰可数名词单数
those 指时间或空间上较远的人或事物,指代或修饰可数名词复数
  
如:This is my map. 这是我的地图。
These boys are our friends. 这些男孩是我们的朋友。
That bird is yellow. 那只鸟是黄色的。
Those are trees. 那些是树。
3)使用指示代词的注意事项
(1)当名词前有指示代词修饰时,其前不再用冠词或形容词性物主代词。如:
  This girl is Kate. 这个女孩是凯特。
(2)电话用语中的指示代词:指代自己用this,指代对方用that。如:
 一Who's that 你是谁? 一This is Daming.我是大明。
(3)在回答指示代词作主语的一般疑问句或特殊疑问句时,答语要用it代替this或that, 用they代替these或those。如:
 一Is this your mother 这是你妈妈吗?
 一Yes,it is./No,it isn't. 是的。/不,不是。
一What are these 这些是什么?
 一They are apples. 它们是苹果。
(4)单数句变复数句
指示代词 this→these that-→those
人称代词 I→we you(不变) he/she/it→they
be动词 am/is→are
可数名词 单数名词→复数名词
 This is a cat. (改为复数句)→These are cats.
He is a student. (改为复数句)→ They are students.
二、含有实义动词的一般现在时
1、实义动词的含义
实义动词是表示动作或状态的词。英语动词是词类中最复杂的一种,谓语动词的人称和数必须与主语保持一致。此外,它们还有时态、语态、语气等变化。
2、实义动词如何表达一般现在时
在一般现在时中,当主语不是第三人称单数时,用实义动词原形来表示一般现在时。 即:主语 + 实义动词原形。当主语为第三人称单数时,实义动词要变成第三人称单数形式。即:主语(第三人称单数) + 实义动词第三人称单数。
实义动词第三人称单数变化规则:
1) 一般情况下,在实义动词后直接加-s,如:
run-runs like-likes come- comes help- helps get- gets
2) 以字母s, x, o, ch, sh结尾的实义动词,在词尾加-es,如:
guess- guesses pass- passes fix- fixes go-goes do- does
teach- teaches finish- finishes wash- washes
3) 以辅音字母加y结尾的实义动词,变y为i,再加 -es,如:
study- studies try- tries cry- cries copy- copies
play- (plays ) stay- ( stays )
注意:以元音字母加y 结尾的实义动词,直接加_-s____。
4) 实义动词have的三单形式不遵从上面的规则,have的三单形式为 has。
3、实义动词构成的一般现在时的意义和用法
1) 表示经常的或习惯性的动作,与often, always, once a week, every day等表示频率的副词或时间状语连用。如:
I often go to school by bike. 我经常骑自行车去上学。
David plays basketball after class every day. 大卫每天放学后都去打篮球。
He often sleeps in English class. 他经常在英语课上睡觉。
注:表示经常或习惯的动作,常和下面这些表示频率和时间的副词连用    
六个频率副词:always, often, usually, sometimes, seldom, never
时间状语:every day, every morning, every evening, at night, on Sundays
表示频率的词组:once a year, twice a month, three times a week等。 
2) 表示客观事实或者普遍真理。如:
The earth goes around the sun. 地球绕着太阳转。
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. 太阳东升西落。
4. 含有实义动词的一般现在时的基本句式
a. 肯定句:主语 + 谓语 + 其他
b. 否定句:含实义动词的否定句需要借助于助动词do或does,并在其后加not, 即do not (缩写 don’t )或does not (缩写doesn’t )。它们的位置放在主语和谓语的之间。
主语 + _____don’t_____/_____doesn’t_____+ _______动词原形________ + 其他
I don’t often go to school by bike. 我不经常骑自行车去上学。
He doesn’t like playing basketball. 他不喜欢玩篮球。
c.一般疑问句:借助于助动词do和does,将do或does置于句首,后面接主语和谓语动词原形。即:Do/ Does + 主语 + 动词原形+ 其他?如:
—Do you often sleep in English class 你经常在英语课上睡觉吗?
—Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
—Does he visit his grandparents every month 他每个月都去探望他的爷爷奶奶吗?
—Yes, he do. / No, he doesn’t.
d. 特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词 + do/ does + 主语 + 其它?
特殊疑问词有what, what time, who, when, where, why等,如:
What do you like best 你最喜欢什么?
What does she usually do on weekends 她通常在周末干什么?
What time do you usually get up 你通常在什么时间起床?
三、名词所有格
名词所有格表示所属关系,意为“某人的/某物的”。名词所有格主要有以下几类:
1. ’s 所有格。
1)用and连接两个并列的单数名词表示共有关系时,这时只在最后一个名词后加“’s”。如:
This is Mary and Lily’s bedroom .
2)用and连接两个并列的单数名词表示各有关系时,这时分别在每个名词后加“’s”。如:
These are Tom’s and Jack’s school bags .
3)以s结尾的名词,变所有格时在s后加“’”,不以s 结尾的复数名词,仍加“’'s”。如:
Teachers’ Day Children’s Day
4)表示店铺、医院、诊所、住宅等名称时,常在名词后加“ ’s ”代表全称。如:
at the doctor’s at the Bob’s
5)由some、any、no、every与one、body 结合的复合不定代词something 、anything 等和else 连用时,所有格应加在else的后面。如:
This is somebody else’s pencil .
6)表示时间、距离、国家、城市等无生命的名词,也可在词尾加’s 来构成所有格。如:
an hour’s ride two weeks’ time China’s capital
2.of 所有格:
1)of 用来表示无生命的名词所有格。如:
a photo of us the map of China the door of the room
2)双重所有格:
of + 名词所有格 of + 名词性的物住代词
He is a friend of my brother’s .

一、指示代词
1)定义
  英语中表示“这个”“那个”“这些”“那些”等指示概念的代词叫作指示代词。
2)分类及用法
近指 this 指时间或空间上较近的人或事物,指代或修饰可数名词单数
these 指时间或空间上较近的人或事物,指代或修饰可数名词复数
远指 that 指时间或空间上较远的人或事物,指代或修饰可数名词单数
those 指时间或空间上较远的人或事物,指代或修饰可数名词复数
  
如:This is my map. 这是我的地图。
These boys are our friends. 这些男孩是我们的朋友。
That bird is yellow. 那只鸟是黄色的。
Those are trees. 那些是树。
3)使用指示代词的注意事项
(1)当名词前有指示代词修饰时,其前不再用冠词或形容词性物主代词。如:
  This girl is Kate. 这个女孩是凯特。
(2)电话用语中的指示代词:指代自己用this,指代对方用that。如:
 一Who's that 你是谁? 一This is Daming.我是大明。
(3)在回答指示代词作主语的一般疑问句或特殊疑问句时,答语要用it代替this或that, 用they代替these或those。如:
 一Is this your mother 这是你妈妈吗?
 一Yes,it is./No,it isn't. 是的。/不,不是。

二、含有实义动词的一般现在时
1、实义动词的含义
实义动词是表示动作或状态的词。英语动词是词类中最复杂的一种,谓语动词的人称和数必须与主语保持一致。此外,它们还有时态、语态、语气等变化。
2、实义动词如何表达一般现在时
在一般现在时中,当主语不是第三人称单数时,用实义动词原形来表示一般现在时。 即:主语 + 实义动词原形。当主语为第三人称单数时,实义动词要变成第三人称单数形式。即:主语(第三人称单数) + 实义动词第三人称单数。
实义动词第三人称单数变化规则:
1) 一般情况下,在实义动词后直接加-s,如:
run-runs like-likes come- comes help- helps get- gets
2) 以字母s, x, o, ch, sh结尾的实义动词,在词尾加-es,如:
guess- guesses pass- passes fix- fixes go-goes do- does
teach- teaches finish- finishes wash- washes
3) 以辅音字母加y结尾的实义动词,变y为i,再加 -es,如:
study- studies try- tries cry- cries copy- copies
play- ( ) stay- ( )
注意:以元音字母加y 结尾的实义动词,直接加_____。
4) 实义动词have的三单形式不遵从上面的规则,have的三单形式为 has。
3、实义动词构成的一般现在时的意义和用法
1) 表示经常的或习惯性的动作,与often, always, once a week, every day等表示频率的副词或时间状语连用。如:
I often go to school by bike. 我经常骑自行车去上学。
David plays basketball after class every day. 大卫每天放学后都去打篮球。
He often sleeps in English class. 他经常在英语课上睡觉。
注:表示经常或习惯的动作,常和下面这些表示频率和时间的副词连用    
六个频率副词:always, often, usually, sometimes, seldom, never
时间状语:every day, every morning, every evening, at night, on Sundays
表示频率的词组:once a year, twice a month, three times a week等。 
2) 表示客观事实或者普遍真理。如:
The earth goes around the sun. 地球绕着太阳转。
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. 太阳东升西落。
4. 含有实义动词的一般现在时的基本句式
a. 肯定句:主语 + 谓语 + 其他
b. 否定句:含实义动词的否定句需要借助于助动词do或does,并在其后加not, 即do not (缩写 don’t )或does not (缩写doesn’t )。它们的位置放在主语和谓语的之间。
主语 + _________/__________+ ______________ + 其他
I don’t often go to school by bike. 我不经常骑自行车去上学。
He doesn’t like playing basketball. 他不喜欢玩篮球。
c.一般疑问句:借助于助动词do和does,将do或does置于句首,后面接主语和谓语动词原形。即:Do/ Does + 主语 + 动词原形+ 其他?如:
—Do you often sleep in English class 你经常在英语课上睡觉吗?
—Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
—Does he visit his grandparents every month 他每个月都去探望他的爷爷奶奶吗?

d. 特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词 + do/ does + 主语 + 其它?
特殊疑问词有what, what time, who, when, where, why等,如:
What do you like best 你最喜欢什么?
What does she usually do on weekends 她通常在周末干什么?
What time do you usually get up 你通常在什么时间起床?
三、名词所有格
名词所有格表示所属关系,意为“某人的/某物的”。名词所有格主要有以下几类:
1. ’s 所有格。
1)用and连接两个并列的单数名词表示共有关系时,这时只在最后一个名词后加“’s”。如:
This is Mary and Lily’s bedroom .
2)用and连接两个并列的单数名词表示各有关系时,这时分别在每个名词后加“’s”。如:
These are Tom’s and Jack’s school bags .
3)以s结尾的名词,变所有格时在s后加“’”,不以s 结尾的复数名词,仍加“’'s”。如:
Teachers’ Day Children’s Day
4)表示店铺、医院、诊所、住宅等名称时,常在名词后加“ ’s ”代表全称。如:
at the doctor’s at the Bob’s
5)由some、any、no、every与one、body 结合的复合不定代词something 、anything 等和else 连用时,所有格应加在else的后面。如:
This is somebody else’s pencil .
6)表示时间、距离、国家、城市等无生命的名词,也可在词尾加’s 来构成所有格。如:

2.of 所有格:
1)of 用来表示无生命的名词所有格。如:
