1. We should wear bicycle helmets when riding. 我们骑自行车时应该戴头盔。
when riding 意思是"when we are riding"。
主从句的主语相同时，从句的主语可省，直接用现在分词表达。类似的有:
after （conj.） + 从句 → after （prep.） +doing sth;
before (conj. ） + 从句 → before （prep.） +doing sth. 等。
你做完家庭作业后可以玩游戏。
After you finished your homework，you could play games.
= your homework，you could play games.
① put sth. on 穿上某物（强调动作，作谓语）
② wear sth. =be in + sth. / be in + 颜色 穿着......（表状态，作谓语）
③ in = wearing sth. 正穿着某物（介词/现在分词作后置定语，修饰前面的名词）。
The girl blue is my teacher. 穿蓝色衣服的妇女是我的老师。
It’s cold. Please your coat. 天冷了，请穿上你的外套。
We light-colored clothes in summer. 我们夏天穿浅色的衣服。

3.条件状语从句
由if（如果)，unless（如果不……；除非……)，so/as long as (只要)，in case(万一)，suppose(假设)，so/as far as(就......而言)引导的状语从句叫做条件状语从句。
在条件状语从句中，要注意时态一致。一般情况下，主句是一般将来时，从句用一般现在时（即“主将从现”或“主情从现”或“主祈从现” ，与时间状语从句一致）；主句是过去时态，从句也要用相应的过去时态。
If everyone obeys the traffic rules, the roads will be much safer.如果每个人都遵守交通规则，那么道路就会安全得多。
We will go there next Saturday unless it rains.如果不下雨的话，我们下星期六去那里。
