语法
(1)定冠词the的普通用法：
1. 通常说话中初次提到的人或物的名词前用不定冠词，再次提到时用定冠词the。
如： — I bought a bike last week.
— Do you mean the one in front of your house It’s beautiful.
2. 表示世上独一无二的事物的名词前需用定冠词the。
如： the Sun, the Earth, the Moon
3．动词play可用于表示体育运动和表示乐器的名词前。体育运动前不加the, 而乐器前需用定冠词the。
如： play football; play the piano
4. 形容词最高级前要用定冠词the.
如： the hottest day
5. 序数词前需用定冠词the.
如： the first step; the second people
(2) 定冠词the的特殊用法：
1. “the + 姓氏复数”表示一家人。 the Smiths
2. 定冠词the用于国家全称前。 the United Kingdom
3. 普通名词组成的专有名词前需加定冠词。 the Great Wall
4. 建筑物前多用定冠词。 the Louvre Museum
5. 组织机构前多用定冠词。 the United Nations

The Teacher I’ll Never Forget
There are many teachers in my life .But the teacher I’ll never forget is Mr Zhang. He is such a warm-hearted man that I can’t wait to tell you more about him.
He is a short man with glasses. He always smiles to us but he is very strict about our studies. At the same time , he uses lots of games in his teaching so that his classes are always full of fun. What’s more, he is willing to help others at any time. Therefore, we all like him very much.
For me, he is not only a good teacher but also a friend of mine. He always encourages me and gives me support . Once I failed in my exam. He said , ‘Never give up and you’ll be successful. Cheep up, I believe you can! ’
He is like a gardener who takes care of flowers! I love him not only because of his kindness, but also because of his encouragement.
