Li Yue Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! It’s my great honor to stand here to share my teaching plan with you. I’ll teach Unit 9 Section B 2b. To make my presentation clear, I’ll present my teaching plan from six parts. .
I. Analysis of teaching material
The topic of Unit 9 is about fun places. The passage of 2b is about Singapore. Students may be not comprehend, so I’ll provide some background knowledge when necessary to arouse students’ learning interests.
II. Analysis of the students
Students in Grade 8 have learned present perfect tense last unit. They can communicate with others in English, using the simple words and expressions with present perfect tense. The topic which is about fun places is acquainted and the structure in the passage is clear. So it’s not difficult for them to learn past progressive.
III. Teaching objectives
1.The knowledge objectives：
By the end of this lesson, students can know about some fun places, especially Singapore. And they can master the present perfect tense with been, ever and never.
2. The ability objectives:
(1). To train students’ reading ability:
a. Students can predict the main idea according to title and pictures..
b. Students can retell the main idea of each part after answering questions.
c. Students can make notes to remember thing better.
(2). To improve students’ writing ability.
(3)Students can talk about some places from different aspects by themselves.
3. The moral objectives
(1). Students know the special place-Singapore.
(2). To talk about past experiences especially unforgettable places.
(3). Students can describe the hometown and love your own hometown.
IV. Teaching key points and difficult points
Key points:
(1). To grasp the new words and expressions.
(2). To know the details and general idea of the passage.
Difficult points: Learn to describe some fun places..
V. Teaching approaches and learning ways
1. Teaching approaches:
I will adopt task-based language teaching approach，situational teaching approach and audio-visual teaching approach.
2. Learning ways:
Cooperation and self–studying will be involved.
VI. Teaching procedures
Step 1 Warming up and leading in1. Watch a picture and know Singapore

(设计意图：首先让学生根据图片和标题进行预测，再快速阅读把握全文，了解文章中涉及的任务的地点，训练快速阅读的技巧。)

(设计意图：通过问题设置，引导学生精读课文；背景知识的渗透，有利于激发学生的学习兴趣，引导学生深入了解课文。在分段读课文的同时，穿插一个做攻略的暗线，将文本穿插起来，让学生不仅学会阅读，更学会旅游。)
Step 4 Post-reading: write the mind-map
[设计意图：通过思维导图的方式引导学生从事件的几个要素来复述课文。有助于学生对课文的整体把握，训练学生对关键句型的掌握。]

(设计意图：通过讨论，让学生完成关于家乡的思维导图，为写作文，给别人介绍家乡做准备，让学生学会读后写作，促进学生的学科核心素养。)

教学反思
教学”Singapore - A Place You Will Never Forget!”一课的主题“有趣的提单”是跟每个人戚戚相关的。阅读中我采用总分总的形式，阅读中用不同的形式让学生阅读文本，并在处理问题的同时形成思维导图，同时在黑板手绘思维导图，让学生在读的同时，手脑眼并用，为下一步复述课文做了铺垫。同时在阅读的过程中渗透了文化差异的内容，并时时给学生一种积极的情感教育。阅读后利用写作来巩固练习。先让学生分小组讨论如何写作，通过老师学生的范例来练习写作，起到一个巩固的作用。
一、优点:
1.上课是条理比较清晰,能够做到重难点突出,有一定的创新。思维导图逐步生成，文本解读效果比较好。
2、在备课的过程中，我深挖人文背景，渗透新加披的地理，语言等相关知识，做到了学科的融合。
3、利用一些启发引导学生，形成情感教育。
二、不足之处：
1、整堂课的节奏上，前紧后松，课堂用时的把握不是更好。应该根据时间合理地把控时间。更好地安排时间。
2、在教学过程中，某些环节的处理有失妥当，PPT处理不够仔细，存在一些问题。在以后的教学工作中应做到不断的思考，及时总结积累经验，使自己不断进步.
3、作文点评时，可以先小组互评，然后共批，共批的操作可以让学生来读来改，学习效果会更深刻。而在这点上我欠缺学生自己互批的环节。
三、今后努力方向
我在今后课堂教学中还将努力为学生的学习兴趣和自主性学习的发展创造各种条件和机会，促进他们去主动学习、主动发展，并给予适当的点拨和引导，让学生学会质疑、调查、探究、在实践中学习，不断提高每个学生的自主性。并且还要在教学过程中要处理好传授知识与培养能力的关系，培养学生掌握和运用知识的态度和能力，尤其对学习上有困难的学生，努力提高他们的学习成绩，激发他们的学习兴趣，使每个学生都能得到充分的发展。
