Unit 8 Birthdays (Grammar & fun time)
学情分析：
本课面向的是五年级学生，经过了上学期的学习，学生的英语基础有了明显提高，听说读写各方面能力也有了加强，在理解本文时难度也较小，本课主题是过生日，是学生感兴趣的题材，带着兴趣学习，教学效果会较佳。
教学目标：
知识目标：
1．能熟练运用句型when’s your birthday It’s on …进行对话。
2．能理解并掌握常用序数词的用法及规则。
3．能完成Fun time 中的任务。
能力目标：
学生能够谈论自己的和别人的生日；
情感目标：
父母把我们带到了这个世界上，我们要心怀感恩的心，爱自己的父母。
教学思想：
以学生为主体开展课堂教学；培养他们良好的品德和意识
教学内容：
第二课时：Grammar & Fun time
教学重点：
能熟练运用句型when’s your birthday It’s on …进行对话。

S: 序数词
T：像eleventh, eighth, fourth等这样的词叫作序数词，它是用来表示顺序的数词；而基数词是用来表示数量的数词。

T:序数词的缩写就是在阿拉伯数字的后面加上序数词的最后两个字母。
