教学内容
教学重点: 通过阅读,了解美国乡村音乐; 2. 通过阅读,寻找关键信息,并利用关键信息归纳段落大意和全文梗概。 教学难点: 通过阅读,使用关键信息,对全文进行梗概复述。 2. 通过思考并结合生活体验,对音乐等美的体验和感召力有进一步的认识。
教学过程
Stage 1 Lead in the topic. The teacher gives Ss some pieces of music to listen, and asks Ss to answer what kind of each music it is.
2. The teacher asks Ss how they feel when listening to music. Purpose: To personalize the target language and prepare Ss for the subsequent reading activity.
Stage 2 Read to get the key facts. The teacher asks Ss to look at the title and fill in the blanks. Then check the answer. Purpose: To prepare Ss for the reading passage with the help of the title.
2. The teacher asks Ss to read Para.2&3 and complete the fact sheet about country music. Then check the answers together. 3. The teacher asks Ss to Read Para.1 and answer the questions. Then check the answers together. Purpose: To let Ss practice the reading skill--skimming and scanning, and find the key information.
4. The teacher asks Ss to make a summary of Para.1 according to the reading tips. Purpose: To let Ss practice the reading skill--summary. The teacher asks Ss to read Para.3 and get the key words. Then check the answers. Purpose: To let Ss practice the reading skill--skimming and scanning, and find the key information.
Stage 3 Try to retell with the help of key facts. The teacher asks Ss to retell the story with the key words of each paragraphs. Purpose: To let Ss practice the reading skill--summary. Stage 4 Homework with evaluation checklists. The teacher gives the homework. *the Blackboard Design
