一、教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)能听懂、会说词汇: have lunch /ride a bike/do exercise/watch TV/walk in the park/ read a book.
(2)理解并运用句型She' s/He' s doing some thing, but.. .
(3)能正确理解并流利朗读活动2的句子,能完成活动3的操练。
2.技能目标:
能仿照例句谈论正在做一件事情时,另一件事情同时发生。
3.情感目标:
(1)在活动中培养学生运用英语的能力,提高学生的口语水平。
(2)培养学生学习兴趣和调动学习积极性,增强与人交流、与人合作的意识。
二、学情分析
六年级学生有了一定的英语基础,但随着年级的增高,会出现一些厌学情绪,因此,在教学设计上,将知识点化为生动有趣适合该年龄段学生的活动便显得很重要。
三、教学重点
1.理解并运用句型: She' s/He' s doing some thing, but...
2.学生能运用功能句谈论正在做一件事时,另一件事突然发生。
四、教学难点
1学生能正确掌握riding/reading/walking的发音。
2.学生能运用功能句谈论正在做一件事时, 另一件事突然发生。

PPT、单词卡片、配套资源光盘等。
六、教学过程
Step1 Warming up and Review
1. Greetings.
2. Games:
(1)I show you say and do the actions.
呈现图片,边说边做: fly a kite/sing/skip/ride a bike/do exercise/ read a book/play football/1isten to music
(2)I do you say.
师边做动作边问What am I doing 学生用You' re ...来回答。再引入到个别学生做动作,集体回答。问: What's he/she doing 学生用He's/ She's ...回答。
3. Let' s chant.
(1)看Sam的图片,问What.is Sam doing 生回答He's listening to music.
T: When Sam is listening to music, What' S happening
(2)看活动一的动画,理解大意,引导学生回答(What's happening )
(3)单词卡片教学nothing.
(4)Watch and chant.
4. Let's review.
PPT呈现上一节课的三张图片,学生用英语描述一下,
大明吹唢呐时,发生了什么 He' s...,but ...
Step2 Presentation the phone rings. 同时张贴短语、板书并教读。
2.同样方式呈现剩余图片,引导学生描述图片并板书。
