meat 是不可数名词（表示数量的时候，用“数词+量词+of+不可数名词”。

There was a small river near its home.它家附近有一条小河。

near /n??/ 近的

there be.... 表示“有....”（某地有某物）
The dog walked on a piece of wood to cross the river.狗要走在一块木头上过河。
walk on 走下去；继续行走
