Unit 6 I’m going to study computer science.
Section A 1 (1a-1c)
教学内容
本部分首先通过主题图中有关未来职业的谈论,以及几幅职业场景的图片将学生带入my dream job话题。1a中罗列了学生之前学过的以及本单元新学职业词汇,如:computer programmer,engineer,driver,pilot等,通过问题What do you want to be when you grow up How are you going to do that 的重点句型,并由此引入学生对自己理想职业的打算和思考。1a-1c通过按个人兴趣为职业排序,听力练习及对话训练,以my dream job为话题学习相关生词和基本句型,并进而引出本单元的重要话题--生活目标(lift goals)。
学情分析
通过前期英语的学习,学生能说出有相teacher, doctor, nurse, farmer,
policeman, driver等相关职业单词。小部分学生对Be going to do句型略有了解。学生们在谈论未来职业时还不是很坚定,没有明确的努力方向。
教学策略
本节课采用了任务型教学法,使学生带着任务去学习,明确这节课的学习目的;借助多媒体以及图片,运用词入句、句入对话、对话编成语篇教学方法去调动学生参与的积极性,让学生合作、自主、探究学习,使学生在宽松、愉悦的氛围中达到学习目标。
四、教学目标:
1. Teaching Aims
1)能掌握以下单词:grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist
2)能掌握以下句型:
① ─What do you want to be when you grow up
─I want to be a basketball player.
② ─How are you going to do that
─I’m going to practice basketball every day.
③ -Where are you going to work
-I’m going to move to Shanghai.
2.Ability Aims
1)用Be going to句型介绍my dream jobs.
2)用What/How特殊疑问句谈论未来职业规化。
3.Emotional Aims:通过未来职业话题的讨论,树立自己的生活目标和制定相应的学习计划,树立健康积极的生活目标。
五、教学重点、难点:
1.通过对目标词汇grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot等的听、说、认、读并使用want to be 谈论未来职业。
2.目标句型的交流和运用
--What do you want to be when you grow up
--I want to be an engineer when I grow up.
--How are you going to that
--I’m going to study math really hard.
--Where are you going to work
--I’m going to move to Shanghai.
六、教学过程
Step1. Free talk What do they do
Look at pictures and speak.
He’s a/an______. She’s a/an_____.
T:Do you want to be a/an...
Ss:Yes,I do.
T: I want to be a/an...
(设计意图:利用当今时代具有影响人物引出有关职业单词,以及句型I want to be a/an…when I grow up.为单词放入句型中学习做好铺垫。)
Step2. Presentation
1. 播放幻灯片,展示一些职业的图片,来引导学生们学习一些新的职业名词:
computer programmer, engineer, violinist, pianist, pilot, scientist,…
并在句型I want to be a/an…when I grow up.中进行理解和运用。
2.展示主题图中Bob and Tian对话情景图学习句型
1) --What do you want to be when you grow up
--I want to be a computer programmer.
--How are you going to do that
--I’m going to study math really hard.
--Try your best,you can be anything you want.
--Yes,you’re right.

(设计意图:采用对话教学法,帮助学生突破本课重难点。在第一组对话中开展师生以及生生之间的对话学习和练习活动,感知Be going to句型在对话中的应用。在第二组对话中根据答语说问句的口语练习,是为对画线部分提问题型做准备。第三组的补全句子练习是让孩子们再次感知Be going to do 句型、单词以及What/How引导的特殊疑问.)
Step3. Listening (1b)
1. T: Tell Ss to read the words of jobs in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the words and sentences.
2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and fill in the blanks.
3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss.
4. Play the recording again. Ss listen and match the jobs with activities.
5. Show the answers on the big screen.
(设计意图:模仿正确的语音、语调。在理解对话内容的基础上完成1b内容。)
Step4. Pair work (1c)
