Unit5 How old are you (Story time)
教材分析:
在本单元,迈克一家在玩具博物馆里参观,同学们将和迈克一起学习数字,介绍自己的年龄,并能够熟练地运用句型询问对方的年龄以及答语。本单元承接了学生原有的知识能力,从听、说、读、写四方面训练学生综合运用语言的能力。本单元的内容贴近学生的生活实际,有利于培养学生在真实的语言情景中运用英语进行交际的能力。
学情分析:
本单元的主要话题是讲述迈克一家人去玩具博物馆参观的经历,通过本单元的教学,学习运用 How old ...句型询问对方的年龄,重点学习数字four to ten。并以此为契机让学生了解国外的送礼文化并熟练运用如何表达送给某人礼物的简单用语。
教学内容:
教材第32、33页Unit5 How old are you (Story time)
教学目标:
1.掌握本模块的重点单词、祝福语,并能够在真实语言情境中进行年龄的询问及回答。
2.学生可以听、说、读、写并理解:nine , eight , four , five , six , seven , ten。
3.能够在真实的情境中运用How old are you 来询问年龄,并用I’m...来回答,掌握 What about you 的用法。
4.通过学习,学生能够询问对方的年龄,并能简单掌握感叹句和祈使句的用法。
5.体会字母s的发音。
6.能够诵读韵律诗Don't be late again.
7.培养学生积极主动地参与课堂活动,针对年龄的话题大胆开口,主动交际。
教学重点:
1.使学生能够掌握“四会”与“三会”单词,并能够在实践中灵活地运用本模块的数词和祝福语。
2.学生能够根据出示的数词谈论自己的年龄。
教学难点:
能够在真实的情境中运用How old are you 来询问年龄,并用I’m...来回答,掌握 What about you 的用法。

教学过程:
Step 1 Warm-up
T: Boys and girls, look! What’s this
Ss: It’s a toy dog.
T: Yes. It’s a lovely toy dog. Lovely可爱的,follow me, lovely
Ss跟读lovely.
T: Let’s sing a song with the lovely toy dog.
(T手持毛绒玩具和学生跟着视频唱Number song)
T:Now let’s count from one to ten and then I will show you a magic farm.

Work in groups:(四人一组,一人扮演农场主,三人扮演不同年龄的孩子进行对话)

2.Make number cards(制作1-10数字卡片).

教学反思:
除了课文中的句子“How old are you ”还要拓展“How old is he/she/your sister/brother...”引导学生用he/she来尝试回答。也可以通过询问一个学生,再询问其他学生“How old is... ”培养学生仔细听的习惯,考察七理解及运用的情况。
此外,还可以为学生科普西方文化:不能随意地询问别人的年龄,属于隐私问题,问了显得不礼貌。
