We went to the Great Wall.谈论暑假生活及其它过去发生的事。Look and read部分呈现国内著名景点the Great Wall、the Palace Museum、Tian'anmen Square. L分别介绍Alice, Peter, Jill的暑假生活,对应北京、英国和中国乡村三个地方,并配有阅读反馈明信片设计。Ask and answer部分呈现了常见动词短语过去式,并提供语言支架供小组讨论。Think and write部分要求学生写一张明信片给朋友;Sing a song部分是一首欢快的歌曲Over the bridge, into the town;Learn the sounds部分是归纳和总结字母e在闭音节中可发音/e/,字母a和字母组合ea在单词中的发音为/e/,及字母a在闭音节中的发音为/ /。
