Knowing how to take notes will help you become a good learner. The following tips will be helpful to you.
Prepare before class. It is easier to take notes when you know something about the class.
If the teacher writes something on the blackboard or says an idea twice, then it is usually very important and you should write it down.
If your teacher talks fast, it may help to bring an audio recorder(录音机) and record the class while taking notes. After the class is over, you can listen to it again and compare with your notes. If you failed to write down something in your notes, you can fill it in later according to the recording.
If you are not quick enough to take something down, ask your teacher to say it again or ask the teacher for help after class. If you are in a hurry, try to find the answer form a classmate or look it up in the textbook.
