Unit 3 What would you like?
第一课时:Part A Let’s try & Let’s talk听说课

上课时间:2023年10月18日星期三第三节课
一、教材分析
1.教学内容
本课时是义务教育灵通版(pep)小学英语教科书五年级上册的第三单元第一课时,围绕“What would you like ”这个话题展开内容。包括Let’s try和Let’s talk两个板块。本课时是整个单元的第一个课时,在本单元中起引领与铺垫作用,重点掌握What would you like to eat / What would you like to drink/ I’d like...的问答句型和一些常见食物名称。通过对对方某一具体时刻饮食需求的询问,了解对方想吃什么、想喝什么。
通过三、四年级的英语学习,五年级的学生具备一定的语言感知能力,因此我准备采用多次呈现对话情景动画,通过声形并茂的方式,感染学生,使学生在新授之前,就可以了解对话内容,再鼓励学生模仿表演对话,感知新句型的应用功能,最后再提炼重点句型,通过活动加以巩固。
二、教学目标
知识目标
(1)学生掌握新重点单词,如hungry, thirsty, drink等。
(2)学生能掌握两个核心句型,要求能正确听、说和朗读,如:
① What would you like to eat / drink
② I’d like……
能力目标
(1)学生能询问别人想吃或者想喝什么并作出相应的回答。
(2)学生能灵活运用所学句型聊关于“饮食”的话题。
情感目标
培养学生养成均衡饮食的良好习惯。
三、教学重难点
(1)教学重点
①通过Let’s try的听力活动,学生能听懂别人想吃(喝)什么。
②能够在情境中运用所学句型What would you like to eat/drink I’d like ......
(2)教学难点
用英语准确询问他人所需要的食物或者饮料。
四、教学方法
本课时教师运用听说法,任务型教学法法,情景教学法以及小组合作法的教学理论方法来使学生掌握课堂重难点,以达到良好的教学效果与教学目的。
五、教学步骤
Step One Lead-in (3 mins)
Lead a topic and Free talk
After greeting with students, teacher shares a video about delicious food with students. Then teacher gives a free talk about “Do you like delicious food ” with students and show some pictures with target words and expressions. (bread, egg, fish, milk, juice)
(设计意图: 教师分享美食的视频来展开话题,吸引学生学习新单元的兴趣。同时复习单词和引入新单词的学习,为下面Let’s try和Let’s talk的环节设下铺垫)
Step Two Presentation (10 mins)
Teacher creates a situation about Let’s talk. Then guides students to do a listening and fill in the blank. Then, students read the tapescript together. Then introduces Sarah’s father. Students read and finish Let’s talk through watching a video. Then teacher and students will do a role-play according to the passage.
(设计意图:教师创设情境,通过Sarah放学回家和妈妈对话,以及爸爸回家后和Sarah的对话让学生顺利过渡到Let’s try和Let’s talk部分。学生们从听力录音和视频中了解课文内容和学习本课时的重点句型,然后通过师生角色扮演加深对课文内容的理解和知识的巩固)
Step Three Speaking (15 mins)
1. Language Point
Teacher guides students to review and summarize the key sentences of grammar focus. Then read and consolidate it.
2. Speaking practice
Teacher shows an activity about sentences practice to students. Then practice group by group and one by one. Then teacher invites some students to make a dialogue through Word Cards.
(设计意图: 教师让学生对所学句型进行总结,并通过对话活动以及单词卡片活动进行操练句型,加深对重点句型的理解和运用。)
Step Four Practice & Consolidation (9 mins)
1. Teacher invites students to play games“The food to eat”.
2. Students solves relevant questions on their own.
(设计意图:教师在该环节通过设置互动游戏和课堂练习来让学生巩固课堂所学知识)
Step Five Summary and Homework (3 mins)
Teacher tries to make a summary with students and arrange homework to them.1
Homework1: Read the passage. Try to do a role-play with others.
Homework2: Work with teammates to search for the differences between Chinese and western dietary culture.
(设计意图:教师引导学生总结本课时所学知识,同时设置培养合作探究精神的有趣的课后作业,激发学生课后学习的兴趣。)
