Step 1 Lead-in
1.Sharp eyes
快闪关于描述外貌和性格特征的单词,学生认读。活跃课堂气氛的同时,调动学生头脑中已有的知识,为接下来的学习做铺垫。
2.Let’s sing: Who’s your teacher
Step 2 Presentation
1.Let’s try
教师创设学校中有一位姓王的新老师的情景,让学生先思考,新老师是什么样子的。发散学生的思维,为本文讨论的话题做铺垫。
T: Look! Who are they
Ss: They are John and Chen Jie.
T: Yes! They are talking about a new teacher. Look! Ms Wang is a new teacher here.
Let’s listen and tick. What is she like
学生听录音,完成练习。教师带领学生完成Let’s try部分的练习并核对答案,出示Let’s try音频原文,让学生在文中核对答案。教师提示Ms 用于女子的姓氏或姓名前,不指明婚否。

T: Today, Chen Jie and John are talking about their new Chinese teacher.
Let’s watch and answer.
Q: Who is she What’s she like
学生看视频,回答问题。
3.Let’s check
呈现教材对话,引导学生理解will be和sometimes的含义。
学生在对话中标注出关键句,教师带领学生共同核对答案。
Step 3 Practice
1.Listen and imitate
学生听音跟读,教师指导学生的语音语调,尤其是连读和升降调的处理。
2.Role play
教师引导学生进行角色扮演活动,巩固整篇课文。
3.Ask and answer

教师指导学生读一读关于Amy家庭成员特征的对话,通过Amy的家庭,教师引导学生介绍自己的家庭,创编对话。

教师引导学生小组进行互相介绍,巩固所学句型。
