Part A Let’s spell
本节课是一节语音课,通过图文对照的形式呈现。Let’s spell分为Read, listen and chant;Listen, number and say以及Listen, write and say三部分。第一部分通过例词和歌谣呈现并强化了y在单词结尾的发音规则;第二部分通过听力活动帮助学生进一步体会以y结尾的单词的音形对应关系;第三部分通过听句子填写单词及抄写句子的活动帮助学生按照发音规则拼写单词并做到书写规范。

2.能够根据发音规则,总结y在单词中的不同位置,发音不同;
3.能够运用发音规则,读出符合y在单词结尾发音规则的新词;

Step 1 Lead-in
Look and read
教师带领学生复习y在单词开头的发音,活跃课堂气氛。
学生读yo-yo、young、year、yellow,总结字母y的发音。
“y” is at the beginning of the word.
学生读shy、my、sky、try。
“y” is at the end of the word. They have no vowels.
通过学生认识的单词,初步感知字母y在不同位置,发音不同。
Step 2 Presentation & Practice
1.Enjoy a story
教师通过绘本故事,让学生初步感知字母y在单词结尾的发音。

学生在和老师一起读故事的过程中,感受单词的构成规律,观察y在单词中的位置,总结发音。
2.Find the rules
T: In the story, we know some new words. Can you read them
学生在教师引导下,读出相应单词的发音。
Ss: baby, sunny, windy, happy, sorry
T: Great! What’s the same
学生通过单词朗读,找到规律,感受字母y在单词结尾的发音。教师提示,这些单词中都含有元音字母。
T: Do you know the pronunciation
学生自己试着总结字母y的发音。
3.Let’s watch
学生根据视频内容,听录音,感受字母y的发音规律。
学生观看视频,明确字母y的发音。学生先思考,然后和视频中的发音进行对比,检验自己总结的规律是否正确。
4.Listen and imitate
呈现教材中的相应单词,教师播放录音,学生跟读,巩固发音。
5.Let’s say
教师出示y结尾的字母组合ry、ny、by、ly、py、ty、dy,学生读一读相应的发音。
教师将相应字母组合组成单词,巩固学生对于字母y发音规律的运用。
6.Listen, number and say
教师播放本部分录音,请学生排序,巩固本节课所学。完成练习后,教师带领学生一起把单词再读一遍。
7.Listen, write and say
学生听录音在单线上规范书写单词,教师进行书写的指导。
8.Read and group
学生将与baby、young、try发音相同的单词放到同一个瓶子中。
9.Let’s chant
学生跟随教师所播放的视频,说唱歌谣,巩固本节课所学知识。

Story time
教师带领学生一起读绘本故事,巩固发音规律的同时,拓展学生的词汇量,提高学生的阅读和理解能力。
