教具准备
1.单词卡片：
（1）本课新单词卡片。
（2）序数词第1至第12的单词卡片。
（3）基数词11至20的单词卡片。
2.图片：
（1）标有楼号的高楼。
（2）课文挂图。
3.录音机或教学光盘。
教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1.师生互致问候。
2.齐说韵律诗：School Rooms。
3.揭示课题并板书：Unit 7 Tall Buildings Part B。
Step 2 Review
1.复习序数词第一至第十二。
（1）教师出示十二张单词卡片，请学生从first读至twelfth，再从twelfth读至first。
（2）教师请个别学生说一说序数词的构成规律。
（3）教师随机抽取十二张卡片中的任意一张，学生拼读。
2.复习上节课的内容。
（1）教师在黑板上贴出高楼的图片，并在图片旁贴出课本第52页的第一幅图，与学生进行问答练习。如：
T：Where does Miss Gao live
S：She lives in that tall building.
T：Which floor does Miss Gao live on
S：On the twelfth floor.
T：They are in Miss G ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ao‘s living room now.What can they see from the window
S：They can see buses and cars from the window.
They can see a bridge from the window.

（2）请学生根据黑板上的两幅图作简短叙述，如：

Step 3 Presentation
（一）学习序数词thirteenth至twentieth
1.出示基数词eleven至twenty的单词卡片，请学生读一读，然后将卡片贴在黑板上。
2.请学生说出序数词第十一和第十二，教师将它们板书在eleven和twelve的旁边，请个别学生说一说序数词的构成规律。21·世纪*教育网
3.请三位学生上台，在黑板上基数词旁写出相应的序数词，板书如下：
eleven eleventh fifteen eighteen
twelve twelfth sixteen nineteen
thirteen seventeen twenty
fourteen
（1）告诉学生第20、第30、第40等整十的十位数的序数词的构成方法是：先将其基数词词尾ty中的y改成i，然后加后缀?eth。www-2-1-cnjy-com

（二）学习课文内容
1.整体感知课文内容。
（1）教师说：“Now W ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ang Tao and Lily are in Miss Gao’s living room.What are they talking about Let’s have a look.”　　21*cnjy*com
（2）教师播放课文录音或CD-ROM，学生边听边看书，并小声模仿跟读。

2.学习第二段对话，并教学单词also和really。
（1）教师板书句子：Mr Wang a ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )lso lives in this building.并提出问题：“Which floor does he live on ”21世纪教育网版权所有
（2）学生自读第二段对话，找出答案：“On the fifteenth floor.”
（3）教学单词also，用实例让学生理解also的意义及用法，如：
I work in this school.
Miss ×（班上另一位任课老师）also works in this school.
I like English.
××× also likes English.
…
告诉学生also与too的意思大致相同，但also要放在be动词后面，实义动词前面；too一般放在句尾，用逗号与前面的句子隔开，如：21·cn·jy·com
Mr Wang also lives in this building.
Mr Wang lives in this building，too.

（4）教学单词really，告诉学生：Really 用升调读，表示疑问。
（5）请学生模仿录音，读一读第二段对话内容。
（6）完成课本第54页的Learn to write.部分。
3.教学单词neighbor和句子So you’re neighbors.
（1）教师指着黑板上的高楼图片说： ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )“Miss Gao lives in this building.Mr Wang also lives in this building.So they are neighbors.”www.21-cn-jy.com
（2）出示单词卡片，教学neigh ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )bor和neighbors，告诉学生该单词中的字母组合gh是不发音的，类似的单词还有light，night，right等。【出处：21教育名师】
（3）完成课本第53页的Ask and answer.部分，巩固neighbor的用法。
教师提问：Which floor does Tom live on
Which floor does Jenny live on
So Tom and Jenny are ….
同桌学生进行问答练习，然后请个别学生展示。
（三）复述课文内容
1.教师播放课文录音或CD-ROM二至三次，学生模仿跟读。
2.请个别学生当小老师，领读课文对话。
3.分角色读对话。
4.请学生四人一小组讨论并尝试用简单的语言复述课文，如：

（1）教师领读这六位人物的名字。
（2）教师播放录音，学生写出答案。
（3）教师出示正确答案，学生校对。

2.完成课本第53页的Read.Tick or cross部分。

（3）教学单词grandmother与 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )grandfather，并出示单词grandma与grandpa，告诉学生它们意思相同，只是前者用在较为正式的语言中，而后者常用于口语化的语言中。
（4）请学生再次阅读短文，完成短文后的练习。
（5）教师在黑板上出示一些疑问词，如： ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )Who，What，Where，Which，Why等，请学生根据短文内容，提出一些问题，提出问题的学生可以指名某位同学来回答。如：

Step 4 Extension
综合活动：我们的家
1.请学生拿出上节课布置的作业，教师指名某位学生起来汇报自己家所居住的楼层，并说一说从自己家的某一扇窗户看到的景色。21教育名师原创作品
2.教师根据该生的汇报，提出问题，其余学生回答，如：

3.请学生四人为一小组进行问答活动。
4.小组汇报。
