【话题概述】
本单元以“推理”为话题，谈论猜测和判断。该话题作文的命题通常采用“Guided Writing”形式，有中文或英文提示内容，根据提示内容写作，或者根据图画提示写作。其中图画类提示作文有两种命题形式，一是看图片，猜测在图中可以看到什么；二是看图画，根据图画内容，发挥合理想象，描述图片内容并连接成一个小故事。
【例题】
英语老师手里有一份没写名字的试卷而且无人认领，成绩是100分。请根据写作要点和要求，帮助老师分析一下这份试卷是班里哪位同学的。
写作要点：
1）卷面整洁，属于一个女孩子；
2）书写良好，可能属于Lily、Jessie 或Alice;
3）Lily不擅长英语，不可能是她的；
4）Jessie 擅长英语，但她的卷子在她书桌里；
5）Alice也擅长英语，她没找到她的试卷。

This paper without a name on it can't be a boy's, because boys' papers in our class can't be this tidy. It must belong to a girl but only three girls have such good handwriting in our class--Lily, Jessie and Alice. The paper can't belong to Lily because she is not good at English. It might be Jessie's, for she is one of the top students in our class and does well in English.But the problem is that her paper is in her desk. So it must belong to Alice. She likes English and does better in English than any other student in our class. And now she hasn't got her paper yet. So the paper with a full mark must be Alice's.
