二、合作交流
Step 1 呈现
1、用连环画的形式,向学生呈现新知识。首先出示日期和主人公,对学生说:It’s Saturday today. Sally doesn’t want to stay at home. 然后出示一张太阳的图片,对学生说:Does it rain today? Does it snow today? Is it windy today? Oh, it’s sunny today, so Sally wants to go out. She wants to have fun. 呈现sunny, go out和have fun。
2、教师说:Where does Sally want to go? What can she do there? 鼓励学生自由表达,并用图片、动作等辅助手段呈现where, park, go boating, plant, tree和lake等。
3、教师说:Where does Peter want to go today? What can he do in a cinema? 利用图片呈现cinema, see a film等。
Step 2 练习
1、与学生讨论周末的安排。如:
What do you often do on Saturday?
Do you want to go out to have fun?
Where do you want to go?
What would you like to do there?
2、鼓励学生根据实际情况向大家介绍,能力较强的学生可以介绍更多的活动安排。
Step 3 呈现
1、向学生呈现本地公园的照片或图片,就交通方式与学生交流:Look, here’s the park in our city / town. Do you want to have fun there? How do you get there from your home? 适时呈现by, bus等。
2、鼓励学生加快以前学习过的交通工具的名称,并指导学生用“by bike / car / ship / plane”结构表达出行方式。
Step 4 练习
1、提供各种地点,安排学生两人一组进行对话。
2、鼓励班级中不同层次的学生进行展示。

Step 1 复习
1、与学生对话,复习C部分学习的内容,如:Where do you want to go this Saturday? Where is it? Is it far away from your home? How can you get there? What can you see there? What can you do there?
2、在交流过程中,将有助于本部分写作的词汇、词组和句型写在黑板上。
Step 2 呈现
1、让学生向教师提问,了解教师的周末安排。教师说:I want to go out to have fun this Saturday. Where do I want to go? Can you guess? How can I get there? What do I want to do there?
2、在这一环节中,教师可以为学生提供更多的信息和表达方式,供他们写作时参考。
Step 3 练习
1、让学生根据自己的实际情况,完成D部分的短文。
2、让学生同桌互相批改、交流。教师选几位不同层次的学生上台朗读自己的短文,纠正错误,同时挑选出好词好句,供大家学习。
3、为学生提供有关Mike周末活动的材料,指导学生四人一组,根据材料写一篇短文:This is a table about Mike’s Saturday.

二、合作交流
Step 1 复习
1、就学生的休闲活动提问:Where do you often go on Saturday? How do you get there? What would you like to do there?等。
2、让学生简单介绍自己的周末生活。
Step 2 呈现
1、用B1部分的图片与学生进行交流2、展示B2部分的图片,指导学生阅读短文,并从短文中选出正确的方位介词完成B2部分的练习。教师适时呈现并解释方位介词:on, in, beside, under, behind, near。
3、教师继续通过图片呈现B3部分的方位表达方式:in front of, in the tree, on the left of, on the right of, between…and…。
Step 3 练习
1、组织学生两人一组进行对话,谈论B部分图片中的位置关系。如:
S1: Where’s / Where are…?
S2: It’s / They’re…
2、让几组不同层次的学生进行展示。
Step 4 游戏
1、方法一:将事先准备好的动物图片发给学生,让他们站在教室的不同地方。教师问:Where’s the cow? 鼓励学生回答:It’s in / on / under / behind / beside / near…
2、方法二:先将一位学生的眼睛用布蒙上,让拿着动物图片的学生藏起来。然后解开那位学生眼睛上的布,让其观察周围的情况,猜测“动物”在哪里。教师说:Where’s the cow?
Step 5 呈现
1、指导学生阅读B1部分的短文,并完成正误判断练习。
(1)The boy’s grandparents live on the farm. (T)
(2) The farm is not far away from the city. (T)
(3)The boy often travels there by bus. (F)
(4)It takes about two hours. (F)
(5)The boy often swims in the river in summer. (T)
2、指导学生练习的同时,适时呈现live, city, travel, about, hour, minute, swim, far away from, It takes…等内容。
3、播放录音,指导学生朗读B1部分的短文。
4、鼓励各个小组进行展示,能力较强的小组可以适当发挥想像,增加内容。
Step 6活动
1、活动一:组织学生两人一组,根据短文进行对话交流:Now you’re the boy on the farm. Your classmate wants to know something about the farm. Can you answer his or her questions? 教师可以为学生提供一个示范。
2、活动二:组织学生写一篇小短文,用方位词介绍大家所处的教室。
4、鼓励各个小组进行展示,能力较强的小组可以适当发挥想像,增加内容。

3、再出示一张博物馆的图片,问学生:Where does Nick want to visit this Sunday? What can he learn there?教师适时呈现museum, sun, moon, star。
