本单元的主题是有关学校课程安排和周末活动的。本节课是本单元的第四课时,是一节听说课,主要讨论周末活动安排。本课学习的核心句型是“Do you often read books/… ” “Yes, I do.”“No, I don’t.”,教材通过张鹏和Sarah周末在公园里的对话,让学生感知上述核心句型的语义及语用情景。
1.通过Let’s try板块的听力活动,使学生能够借助图片听懂简短对话,抓住关键信息,提高听信息的能力,完成听录音选图片的练习;
2.能在图片的提示和教师的帮助下理解Let’s talk板块的对话大意;
3.能用正确的意群以及语音语调朗读对话并进行角色扮演;
4.能在情景中运用句型“Do you often read books/… ”“Yes, I do.”“No, I don’t.”,询问对方经常从事的活动并作出回答;
5.能在语境中理解often、park、read books、play football的意思,并能正确发音。

Step 1 Lead-in

播放本单元歌曲Days of the week,学生跟唱,回顾有关星期的词汇。
2.Sharp eyes
出示单词,学生快速反应,复习有关星期的词汇,活跃课堂气氛的同时提高学生的学习兴趣。
3.Free talk
出示课程表,或是使用班级课程表,学生运用A部分的核心句型进行对话,为本节课的学习做铺垫。

Step 2 Presentation
1.Let’s try
(1)教师创设Zhang Peng与Oliver通电话的情景,让学生先思考,他们会聊什么呢?发散学生的思维,为本课讨论的话题做铺垫。
T: It’s Saturday morning. Zhang Peng calls Oliver. What are they talking about
(2)播放Let’s try音频,学生听录音,回答问题。
Q1: Will they play football this afternoon
Q2: Does Oliver often clean his room on Saturdays
(3)再次播放音频,学生听音选出相应图片,师生核对答案。
(4)出示Let’s try音频原文,请学生根据原文核对答案并进行角色扮演,让学生感知新句型。
2.Look and answer
(1)承接Let’s try的内容,教师提出问题“What will Zhang Peng do this afternoon ”,引导学生进行思考,鼓励学生运用已学词汇和句型进行猜测,发散思维。
(2)出示张鹏和Sarah在公园谈话的图片,创设情景,通过问题引导学生观察图片,了解对话场景。
T: It’s Saturday afternoon. Zhang Peng meets Sarah. Look! Where are they

3.Watch and choose
(1)一进文本,学生看视频,回答问题“What are they talking about ”,了解谈论的话题,教师带领学生共同核对答案。
T: Now we know they are talking about activities in the park.
(2)在教师的引导下,二进文本,学生根据细节问题,认真读对话,回答问题。教师带领学生共同核对答案。

4.Let’s say
教师指导学生分角色操练重点句型,强调Do开头的一般疑问句的问答方式。

Step 3 Practice
1.Listen and imitate
教师播放音频,学生听录音,逐句跟读对话,跟读过程中注意意群停顿,并模仿说话者的语气和升降调。
2.Role play
(1)学生自由朗读对话,朗读过程中提醒学生注意按照正确的意群和语音语调进行朗读。
(2)学生分角色扮演张鹏和Sarah,先在小组内表演,然后请几组学生给全班表演。
3.Let’s order
将教材对话内容打乱顺序,请学生对课文中的句子进行排序,巩固对话内容。

出示词组,请学生读一读,然后运用本节课重点句型进行对话,巩固核心句型和词组。
