知识点讲解
一、名词所有格
英语中名词后加上-’s便构成所有格，表明一种所有关系，这种所有格形式叫＂-’s所有格＂。-’s所有格的构成如下：
一般规则：直接在单词后面加’s构成所有格
比如：father’s 爸爸的脸 mother’s bag妈妈的包 Lily’s mother 丽丽的妈妈
以s结尾的名词，直接在名词后边加’
比如;dogs-dogs’ 例句：dogs’ footprints students-students’ 例句：students’ room
比如：teachers-teachers’ 例句： teachers’ office
还有三个常见考点
1.This is Lucy and Lily's room 这是露西和莉莉的房间（这是指两人共用一个房间）
两人共用一个房间时，只在最后一个人名后加’s
如果两人各有一个房间，就得在两人后都加’s
例句：Lucy’s and Lily's rooms（注意room要用复数）
2.谁的地盘谁做主
At the doctor's 在医院，在诊所
At the barber’s 在理发店
I’m going to my uncle’s 我正打算去舅舅家
总结：表示职业的名词’s，比如医生，理发师,就能表示这个人的工作处所。人的称呼’s 如wife father 就能表示居住地。
常见点1和2都是有生命的名词加’s 个别无生命的可以加’s（表示，时间，距离，国家时）
例句：an hour’s bus ride 一小时的车程 China’s history 中国的历史
3.of所有格结一般表示无生命的物体所有格
和中文的表达相反
中国的历史 the history of China 中国的首都 the capital of China
教室的窗户 the window of the classroom
总结;of前边的词是中心词，后边的是修饰词 结构就是 中心词+of+修饰词
双重所有格：即出现’s所有格又出现of所有格
例句： a book of my sister’s 我姐姐的一本书
She is a friend of my mother’s 她是我妈妈的一位朋友
二、物主代词
1. 表示所属关系的代词叫物主代词，有人称（第一人称、第二人称、第三人称）、数（单数、复数）和性（形容词性、名词性）之分。详见下表：
单数 复数
形容词性 my your his her its our your their
名词性 mine yours his hers its ours yours theirs
2.形容词性物主代词具有形容词的特征，放在修饰名词的前面。切记形容词性物主代词后面必须跟一个名词或名词性短语，不可以单独使用。如：
Mr. Chen is my English teacher, but I don’t know his full name.
陈老师是我的英语老师，但我不知道他的全名。
【拓展延伸】
1.形容词性物主代词不可以与冠词（a, an, the）、指示代词（this, that, these, those）和名词所有格（Millie’s等）连用。
2. 形容词性物主代词与形容词一起修饰名词时，要放在形容词之前。 如：
his English books 他的英语书
3. 汉语表达常有省略“的”字的习惯，如：我妈妈。其中“我”的实际意义应该是“我的”，所以英语中只能译成my mother，而不能译成 I mother。
4. it’s与its是两个极易混淆的词。it’s是it is的缩写，意思是“它是”，its是物主代词，意思是“它的”。如：
It’s a cat. Its name is Mimi.它是只猫。它的名字叫咪咪。
3. 名词性物主代词的“家法”
名词性物主代词相当于“形容词性物主代词+名词”，在句中可作主语、宾语或表语。
如：My ruler is red and yours is yellow.
Is her lifestyle the same as yours.
4. 形容词性物主代词与名词性物主代词的“大PK”
形容词性物主代词只能作定语，修饰后面所接的名词；
而名词性物主代词=“形容词性物主代词+名词”，其后不接名词
如：This is my bag, and that is yours (= your bag).
Their school is much bigger than ours ( our school).
