Step 1: warming up 1.Show some pictures about some famous stories. 2.Translate their Chinese stories’ name into English , and present some on the screen. 4.Lead out the story’s name: <
> 5. Play a video about the story. Step 2: Presentation 1.Teaching the useful words and phrases 1). Let the students learn the new words by themselves in groups. 2). Show some pictures,through the pictures,teaching the new words. 3). Read after the teacher. 2. Know the characters of the story,show their pictures. Step 3:Listening 1.To solve the important words .phrases and sentences. 2.To let the students know about all the details of the conversation. 3.To present the tense of the past on –going’ and let the students underline all the sentences including the past on –going. Step 4:Reading 1. Solve the grammar problem(the past on-going) 2. Present the instructures:Was/Were+V-ing 3. Use the past on-going correctly,let the students do some exercises. 4. Let the students understand the key time expressions,The teacher can list them and explain. Step 5: Practising 1.To improve the students’ oral abilities and ask them to make a survey. 2.To consolidate the grammar points,ask the students to do some exercises. Step 6:Retelling 1.Tell the students to read the conversation again, and try to remember the story line. 2.Ask them to look at the pictures carefully on the screen. 3.Tell them to talk about the story in groups, try to retell the story 4.Encourage them to give the story an ending. 集体研讨摘录 掌握好过去进行时的谓语部分,即was/were+v-ing. 辨别一般过去时和过去进行时的时间状语。 比较现在进行时和过去进行时的相同点和不同点。
教后反思 学生对过去进行时的谓语部分结构掌握不牢固,容易在练习时写成v-ing而缺少相应的be动词。另外,本节课是听说课,对于故事的复述环节学生不能很好地开口表达,口语方面练习较少,以后应多加训练。

Step 1:Review To draw the students’ attentions,help them revise the past on-goings. 1.Show some pictures,practising them using the past on –goings. 2.Free talking Using “work in pairs”,one asks,one answers. Talk about what they were doing at 9:00 last night Step 2:Lead-in Asking :What was Alice doing Step 3:Pre-reading 1.Show students a picture and ask: Look at this picture, is it strange Why do you think it’s strange 2. Then show the title of the lesson and lecture the new words as well.For letting the students study and understand the words. let the students learn the new words by themselves in groups Show some pictures,through the pictures,teaching the new words read after the teacher Step 4:While-reading To understand the main details of the story and improve the students’ listening abilities. 1.Let the students listen the story. 2.Let the students reading the story carefully.find the difficult words ,phrases and sentences. Eg.once or twice what…for have nothing to do too…to land on… run across the field nothing strange look into 3. careful Reading (1)Paragraph 1: ①The whole class read together and answer these two questions: 1) What was Alice and her sister doing by the river 2) Then what ran by them T: Now, lets check the answers. ②Ask a volunteer to read Paragraph 1 in class and the other students find out difficulties. ③Solve difficulties: (2)Paragraph 2: ①To ask a students read Paragraph 2,then find out the words that proves the rabbit was different. ②Ask a student to be “a little teacher” to check the answers. ③Read by themselves and point out important points. ④Solve difficulties. 1) nothing strange, something, anything… 2) take sth. out of sw. 3) run across…. 教后反思 本课为阅读课,学生的阅读课文技巧使用还不熟练,提炼信息有时不够准确,对于故事情节的复述能力还有欠缺,要多熟悉课文语句,掌握课文内容,并且还要注意复述时句子结构的完整性。

教后反思 本课属于语言实践活动,通过习题语境进一步强化对过去进行时的认识,但学生容易混淆一般过去时和过去进行时的用法。对于主语后的be动词运用也有问题,需加强记忆和训练。
