Step 1 Leading-in 1. Let the students watch a video and be ready to talk about the topic. 2. Show some new words on the computer, let the students guess the meaning of these words quickly. 3. Ask the students to discuss and answer the following two questions: (1) When is your birthday (2) What do you want for your birthday Step2 Listening practice Ask the students to listen and number the words and expressions.(Activity 1) Guide the students to match the words and expressions with the pictures. (Activity 2) Call back the answer from the whole class and check the answer. Step3 Listening and reading Ask the students to listen to the conversation and choose the best answer for each sentence.
