Rhyme in Songs Dear kids, welcome to my lesson! Do you like singing or writing songs Today we are going to learn about rhyme(押韵)in songs. What is rhyme in songs One way to learn about a song is to look at its rhyme. Rhyming words are words that sound the same, such as cat/hat, or lying/crying. This makes the song sound nicer and more musical. How to understand rhyme in songs When a song has rhyming words at the end of lines, these are called “end rhymes”. Here is an example of end rhyme: My cat is nice. My cat likes mice. Here are three different cat songs, each with a different rhyme way. The first is AABB, the second is ABAB, and the third is ABCB): No.1 My cat is nice. A My cat likes mice. A My cat is fat. B I like my cat. BNo.2 My cat is nice. A My cat is fat. B My cat likes mice. Australians are different from Englishmen in some way. There is more visiting without an appointment(预约)in Australia than in England. All the same, you have to be careful about your timing.
A very close Indian friend talked to me once about how bad he felt when he visited his friends shortly before “Tea”(the evening meal, or dinner, in Australia). They sat and talked very politely. But clearly his friends wanted him to leave soon.
In Asia, of course, the problem would not arise: the family would ask their friends to have the evening meal with them. But this kind of thing does not come easily to Australians, so do not hope for it. Instead(相反), leave before dinner. Australians give visitors a hug, or even a kiss, but they don’t give visitors a drink when they come for a visit, unlike many Asian countries.
If you come from a country where home help is popular, you should remember that this is usually not true in Australia. So it would be a good idea to help clear the table and wash up when you finish dinner at a friend’s place. The hostess(女主人)will certainly thank you for what you do.
56.In what way are Australians different from Englishmen
A.They often make plans early.
B.They are careful with timing.
C.They visit their friends more often.

A.didn’t like his Australian friends
B.should leave before Australian “Tea”

60.What should visitors do after having dinner in Australia

C.Stay to have a drink. D.Leave as soon as they can.
