Discourse study(语篇研读) What: 本课语篇是Alex Greenall一天的安排。第1-3段中Alex Greenall介绍了自己的姓名、年龄和就读学校等个人信息和上午的时间安排;第4-5段中介绍了自己下午的时间安排;最后一段介绍了自己晚上的时间安排。 Why: 本课的主题是校园生活,以Alex Greenall的口述来了解一个英国男孩的校园生活,帮助学生进一步了解并熟练运用实义动词的一般现在时和有关时间的表达方式,使学生学会如何根据时间线介绍自己的一天。 How: 本文以Alex Greenall为第一人称描述自己的一天,以时间点为主线,按照时间顺序依次介绍Alex Greenall一天的活动安排。主要知识点是一般现在时,主要结构是“at+时间点”,用来介绍在具体时间做某事。
Teaching goals: Students will be able: To master some key words and expressions, such as weekday, get up, have breakfast, have lunch, have dinner, go home, go to bed, etc.; To understand the passage and know about Alex Greenall ’s school day; 3. To write about their school day by using simple present tense.

目标1: To master some key words and expressions, such as weekday, get up, have breakfast, have lunch, have dinner, go home, go to bed, etc. Review expressions of time and answer questions according to the given information. Show some pictures. Ask students to look at the pictures, and then talk about the pictures. Introduce and read new words. 观察学生有关时间表达方式的掌握程度,能否能用英语熟练表达不同的时间点的活动安排。
Purpose: 由复习导入新知。

目标2: To understand the passage and know about Alex Greenall ’s school day. Read through the passage and order pictures in Activity 1 individually. Finish Activity 2. Match the times with the pictures in Activity 1 . Finish Activity 3. Underline the correct expressions. Fill in blanks to retell the passage. 观察学生是否能够在规定的时间内,准确迅速将图片、事件和时间点进行匹配;能否根据文章内容选出正确答案。
Purpose: 训练学生在阅读中快速提取信息的能力;培养学生在阅读中获取具体信息的能力;讲解重点语言知识点,如一般现在时,介词in 的用法。

目标3: 3. To write about their school day by using simple present tense. Finish Activity 4 and Activity 5. Ask students to talk about their school day according to the timeline. Finish Activity 6. Join sentences with and then . 观察学生是否能按照时间线介绍自己的一天,并且能够合理地使用连词and then连接句子。
Purpose: 将阅读的输入转化为口头和笔头的输出,不仅可以训练学生说和写的能力,还可以巩固在阅读中学到的知识。
