一、一般过去时的定义
一般过去时表示过去某个时间存在的状态或发生的动作。
二、时间标志词
1. yesterday系列: yesterday morning 昨天早上
2. last系列: last night 昨晚; last week上周; last year去年
3. ago系列: two days ago两天前; three years ago三年前; long time ago很久前
4. that/those系列: that day那天; those days 那些日子; at that moment 在那时
5.其他: in 1995在1995年; then 那时
三、句型结构
肯定句 (1)主语+was/were +其他. 例: Lanlan was late for school yesterday.兰兰昨天上学迟到了。 (2)主语+动词过去式+其他. 例:He dropped his ice cream.他掉了他的冰激凌。
否定句 (1)主语+wasn't/weren't+其他. 例:We weren't at school last week.我们上周不在学校。 (2)主语+didn't+动词原形+其他.例:Huahua didn't phone me last night.华华昨晚没有给我打电话。
注意: 否定句中some要变成any。

一、含有行为动词的一般过去时的一般疑问句
句型结构：Did+主语+动词原形+其他
肯定回答:Yes,主语+did.
否定回答:No,主语+ didn't.
例:—Did they go to school by bike 他们骑自行车去上学吗
—No, they didn't. 不,他们不是。
二、含有be动词的一般过去时的一般疑问句
句型结构:Was/Were +主语+其他
肯定回答:Yes,主语+ was/ were.
否定回答:No,主语+wasn't/ weren't.
例: —Was he a pupil five years ago 五年前他是学生吗
—Yes, he was./ No, he wasn't. 是的，他是。/不，他不是。
学要点提示：在疑问句中, some要变成any。
