Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Language practice No shouting, please! Don’t cross that rope! Don’t be rude! If you ever go to London, make sure you visit the Science Museum. Step 2 Grammar if引导的状语从句和表示禁止做某事的结构归纳讲解 Step 3 Match the signs with the rules. Step 4 Look at the signs and write the rules. Step 5 Complete the sentences with the correct form of the words in brackets. Step 6 Complete the sentences with your own ideas. Step 7 Work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about the museum. What can you see at the museum You can see an exhibition about… Step 8 Complete the sentences with the words or expression in the box. Step 9 Complete the passage with the expressions in the box. Step 10 Listen and label the different parts of the museum. Step 11 Around the world Step 12 Writing Work in groups. Prepare a guide to a museum. Describe the museum: what kind of museum it is and what you can see there. Draw a diagram of the museum: what you can find on each floor. Provide more information: how to get to the museum; what the opening hours are; ticket information, etc. Step 13 Summary To let Ss say what they have learnt.
