Topic: Unit 2 when do you use a computer Type: Reading &writing
Discourse study(语篇研读) What: 文章介绍了三位同学,分别是Zhang Lei, Alice和Mikes在日常生活中使用电脑的场合和地点,以及使用电脑所能做的事情。 Why: 学生通过阅读文章,能够学会表达自己在日常生活中用电脑能可以做的事情, 同时树立正确合理上网的意识。 How: 这篇课文的是三个同学对于自己日常生活中使用电脑的描述,三个小语篇构成了整个文章的大语篇,没有明显的文章总体结构,因为是对自己日常生活经常性和习惯性的行为进行描述,所以篇章基本全部采用一般现在时态。
Teaching goals: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to Master new words and expressions in this unit. Express when and where they can do on the computer, and their daily life with computers. Describe what they can do with the help of computer, and how to use computer properly.

目标1: Students will be able to Master new words and expressions in this unit Students look at the pictures of computer, and review the words that related to computer, such as: keyboard, screen, mouse, etc. Students think about some questions related to computers, and then learn new words and expressions in this unit. 观察学生是否能够回想起本模块第一单元单词和短语,为接下来的新课做好准备。
Purpose: 了解学生掌握程度,为后续课堂做好准备。

目标2: Students will be able to express when and where they can use the computer, and their daily life with computers. Students read the passage quickly, answer the three questions in Activity 1 and check the true sentences in Activity 2. Students read the three paragraphs one by one, and then answer some questions . Students discuss with their partners about two questions: Where can you use computer When can you use computer 观察学生是否能够迅速阅读课文并找出问题的答案。 观察学生能否正确使用When,Where进行提问和回答。
Purpose: 训练学生在阅读中快速提取信息的能力, 同时通过学生间的提问和回答,让学生学会W- 提问句型,并学会表达自己使用电脑的场合。

目标3: Students will be able to describe what they can do with the help of computer, and how to use computer properly. Students finish Activity 3and 4, and then check the answer in class. Students work in pairs and answer questions in Activity 5, use the answer to write a short passage about our life with computers. The teacher reminds students to use the computer correctly. 观察学生是否正确完成活动三和四,为后续语言输出做好准备。
Purpose: 让学生将本堂课所学新知识内化,通过写作的形式展现出来,同时注意引导学生正确使用网络。
