通过呈现Ling Ling和Steven在动物园门口就导览图讨论他们最喜欢的动物的场景,学习用like讨论个人爱好的句型。

能够听、说、读、写单词slow, China;能够听、说、读、写句型:They look like bears. They live in Sichuan, China. Pandas are black and white. They can climb trees. They like sleeping.
文化知识:
学习如何讨论动物,了解动物的特征、能力、喜好等相关信息。鼓励学生积极思考,与已有生活经验相联系,表达自己对动物的认识。同时也学习表达个人爱好。
语言技能:
能够运用主要句型They look like bears. They live in Sichuan, China. Pandas are black and white. They can climb trees. They like sleeping.描述动物的信息及活动。
学习策略:培养学生小组合作的能力;培养学生爱护动物的意识。
Step1. Warming up
Game: Catch the plane. 通过游戏复习形容词、动词及动物名词,目的是为了激活学生的背景知识,为新课的学习做了铺垫。
Enjoy a video: < Animals>通过歌曲视频,引出“动物”这一主题,同时激发学生的兴趣,让学生在轻松的气氛中进入到本课的学习。
T: Boys and girls, do you like this song What can you see in the video Ss: Animals.
T: What animals can you see
Ss: Monkeys, birds, elephants, frogs, chickens, ...
T: Wow, you have sharp eyes. Do you like animals Ss: Yes.
T: Our old friends like animals, too. Do you want to know who they are Ss: Yes. (教师出示书本P37的主情景图)
Step2. Presentation
创设情境:通过呈现动物园门口Ling Ling和Steven就导览图讨论他们最喜欢的动物的情景图片,引导学生能够在图片的辅助下通过听录音找出问题What is Ling Ling’s favourite animal 的答案。让学生通过听觉感知本课的核心句型,为板块Look, listen and say的教学做铺垫。
Free talk.(出示主情景图,提出两个问题)
Who are they Where are they
T: Yes, they are Ling Ling and Steven. They are at the zoo. Now, they are reading a guide map of the zoo. Can you guess what Lingling’s favorite animal is Ss: ………
T: OK, let’s listen to the tape and find out the answer.
(播放录音并核对答案)
T: Ling Ling’s favorite animal is panda. Do you like panda Can you say something about panda (师生一起说说熊猫的特征,喜好与生活习性。)
Listen and say
T: You did a good job. Now, Ling Ling and Steven are visiting the pandas at the zoo. Let’s listen and find out what they are talking about. (对话第一、第二段遮掉关键词,学生听录音后说出答案。)
Read and answer.
在对话的第三、第四段,通过设置两个问题:What can pandas do 和 What do pandas eat 也就是先设疑,再让学生猜疑,最后再通过阅读解疑,层层递进,既发散了学生的思维,让学生对熊猫的生活习性有了更深入的了解,又能让学生关注到了重点句型。
T: Just now, we know something about pandas. Now, let’s go on learning.
After you reading the dialogue, please answer two questions: “What can pandas do ” And “What do pandas eat ”, OK (个别提问学生,师生一起核对答案。)
Step.3 Practice & Consolidation
Listen and follow.
(整体呈现对话,让学生感知整个语篇,听音跟读的活动培养学生的语感,同时让学生有足够的语言输入,为后面的语言输出做好准备。)
T: Now, let’s listen to the whole dialogue and follow.
Choose and act(让学生任选一幅图来进行两两对话)
T: You can choose a dialogue you like and act it out with your partner.
T: It’s time to act it out. (抽几组学生上台表演)
Read and choose (挖空文本,把重点句型抽出来打乱顺序,让学生选择填空,目的是考查学生的记忆力,提升学生的思维能力。)
T: All of you did a good job. Now, I want to check your memories. Can you fill in the blanks with these sentences
T: Time is up. Let’s check the answers together.
Pair work(教师出示各国的国宝动物,让学生根据自己喜欢的动物来与同伴进行对话操练。目的是培养学生敢于开口,乐于分享的情感态度。)
T: Look, there are some representative animals of each country. Which one do you like best You can choose one animal and talk about it with your partner.
T: It’s time to show your dialogue. Who wants to try Hands up, please.
Step4. Summary. (师生一起回顾熊猫的特征、习性和喜好。)
