纵观近几年中考试题,对句子的考查常包括以下几种题型:①根据汉语提示完成句子;②连词成句;③翻译句子;④句型转换。?根据汉语提示完成句子或翻译句子的解题技巧
在解题之前,首先应该做到以下几点:
1.熟记单词和词组。牢固的词汇基础是攻克翻译题的关键。
2.要熟悉各种句型。尤其对常用句型要做到熟记于心,脱口而出,只有这样才能对其灵活运用。
3.要熟练掌握语法知识。只有具备扎实的语法知识才能写出正确的英文句子。那么,如何才能做好各种翻译题呢?
1.认真审题。要先分析所给的汉语句子,了解这个句子所要表达的意思,联想相关的英语词汇和句型。
2.仔细推敲,考虑语法现象。在对句子进行翻译之前,要确定该句用什么时态、什么语态并考虑人称和数的变化问题。
3.理清思路,判断句子结构。要先看清楚句子符合哪种句型,然后就可套用这种句型来完成试题。若是补全句子,则要清楚句子缺的是什么成分。有的句子是复合句,主要考查其中的固定搭配,如:so...that...句型,too...to...句型等。4.注意英汉差异和缩写词。英汉的表达方式有着很大的不同,要注意词与词之间的排序,要杜绝汉语式英语,还要注意缩写词应看作一个单词。
5.仔细检查。翻译完成后,要仔细核查。检查大小写、标点符号,以及单词的书写、时态、语态、词性、单复数等方面是否正确。?按要求转换句型的解题技巧
1.吃透原句。在答题时首先要弄清所给句子的句型结构、主语的人称和数、谓语动词的形式以及全句的意思。
2.明确要求。要看清题目的要求,弄懂题意,不要盲目动笔。3.对“症”下“药”。即针对不同的要求采用不同的方法。
①将肯定句改为否定句时,除了要正确使用谓语动词的否定形式外,还要将句中的some改为any,将something改为anything,将already改为yet等。
②将陈述句改为一般疑问句时,要根据陈述句中的谓语动词及其时态形式确定其疑问句式,同时还要注意将原句中的some改为any,something改为anything等。
③将陈述句改为反意疑问句时,除了遵循“陈述部分若为肯定形式,疑问部分则用否定形式;陈述部分若为否定形式,疑问部分则用肯定形式”的基本原则外,还要注意:当陈述部分含有little,few,no,nothing,never等否定意义的词时,疑问部分要用肯定形式。以let's开头的祈使句要用shall we来反问。④对画线部分提问时,可按下面的步骤进行:
第一步“定”。根据画线部分的内容确定适当的疑问词并放在句首。如:询问时间用when或what time,询问地点用where,询问价格用how much等。
第二步“移或加”。将句子结构改为一般疑问句的形式,如果谓语部分含有be动词、助动词(will,have等)或情态动词时,则将这类动词移到疑问词的后面。如果谓语动词是行为动词,则须在主语前加助动词do,does或did等。
第三步“变化”。对句子中某些词作相应的变化,同时还要注意将原句中句首单词(专有名词除外)的首字母改为小写,将句号变为问号等。
第四步“删除”。去掉被替换的画线部分。⑤将陈述句变为感叹句时,首先要确定是用what还是用how引导感叹句(如果强调部分的中心词是名词,就用what;若是形容词或副词,则用how),然后将所强调的部分移至what或how之后,最后记得去掉修饰这一形容词或副词的very,pretty等表示程度的副词。?同义句转换的解题技巧
在做同义句转换题时,首先要理解原句的意思,然后根据要求补全句子或写出整句,使两句意思相同或相近。为了帮助同学们掌握一些同义句转换题型的解题技巧,现将同义句转换的主要形式归纳如下:
①用意义相同或相近的词或词组进行转换
做此题型时,我们可以采用“词语替代法”,此法是指用词性相同的同义词、近义词或同义词组对原句的某些成分进行简单的替代,而句子结构保持不变。因此,我们在学习过程中,要掌握尽可能多的同义词(组),如:have a good time,enjoy oneself,have fun;be able to,can;be good at,do well in;arrive(in/at),get to,reach;take care of,look after等。具体运用时,还要注意它们在句中的位置、形式与转换后句中其他部分的相应变化,尤其是时态,要与所给句式时态保持一致。
②运用反义词或词组改写
此类转换应注意有时主语位置会改变,并要特别总结归纳反义词(组)。如:new→old,big→small,long→short,more than→less than,different→the same等。③用同义句型改写
该类题型是指利用意义相同或相近但结构不同的句型、句式来表达同一句意的方法。此类转换必须弄清每个句型的构成特点,而且还要注意句中的固定搭配。如:give sb.sth.与give sth.to sb.的转换;spend some time doing sth./on sth.与It takes sb.some time to do sth.的转换等等。
④两句合并成一句转换成简单句
这种转换方法也叫“合并分句法”,此法就是把两个并列句中成分相同的部分合并起来,使其成为一个简单句。如:英语中常用not only...but also,either...or,neither...,nor,both...and等连词把两个意义相关的简单句合并成一个简单句。解题过程中要注意连词的选用和主谓一致原则。除此之外,还可用too…to,enough to等把两个简单句合并成另一个简单句。⑤简单句与复合句的互换
复合句转换为简单句一般侧重于将从句变化为短语或词组,使其句意简单明了。常见的转换方法有:?用不定式替换、用介词短语替换、用名词性短语替换、用分词短语替换;?将宾语从句简化为“疑问词+不定式”;?将so…that...或such...that...引导的状语从句简化为含有too...to...或enough to的简单句;?将含有if引导的条件状语从句的复合句简化为“祈使句,and/or+句子”结构。
⑥主动语态转换为被动语态或被动语态转换为主动语态
掌握主动语态结构和被动语态结构,并注意保持时态的一致性。?连词成句的解题技巧
这是完成句子中比较简单的一种题型,做题时首先要明白所给词的词义并认真体会它们要传达的信息,然后确定好主语及谓语动词并按照正确的语法结构连词成句,注意句式、大小写及标点符号。【例1】 根据所给的汉语内容,用英语完成下列句子。(每空限填一词)(2015,烟台)
