Unit 1 The king’s new clothes
教学目标: 1. 能听懂、会读、会说和会写: king, clothes, was, were, magic, clever, foolish, walk through, people, shout, beautiful, wear, point at, laugh.
2. 能听懂、会读、会说句型: Clever people can see the clothes. Foolish people can’t see them. The king isn’t wearing any clothes. 3. 能初步感知一般过去式的用法及There was/were…的用法。
4. 能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试表演对话。 5. 让学生体验故事表演的快乐,明白为人要诚实,待人要真诚。 教学重点: 1. 能读准新单词,了解词意。 2. 单词clothes, foolish, wearing的发音。 3. 能初步感知一般过去式的用法及There was/were…的用法。
4. 能初步正确理解和朗读对话内容。
5. 故事中人物语气的朗读。 教学难点: 1.故事中大量形容词的理解和运用。 2.学生在了解故事的基础上,初步复述故事 课前准备: 1.通过阅读课文,了解故事大意。 2.查阅资料了解一般过去时的含义和用法。 3.听录音学习课文中的新单词。 前置作业: 1. 观看动画,了解课文大意 2. 通过请教或上网搜索,了解一般过去时 3. 简单回顾上学期已学内容 教学过程: Step 1 Free talk 1. T: Welcome to school. Nice to see you again. We have a happy summer holiday. 2. 从一般现在时引出一般过去时,学生对过去时有初步的了解。 What do you often do on Sundays What did you do in the summer holiday I watched TV. I watered flowers. I played with my son. 3. 出示一些动词过去式,鼓励学生大胆用一用,说一说 played … walked in the park, went (go) to … ate(eat) … Step 2 Presentation 1. 了解There was/were…的用法 T: Look around our classroom. What’s in it Ss: There is /are … T: Look at this sitting-room. What’s in it Ss: There is /are … T: 示另一幅图,But long long ago, there was /were … Ss: 学生跟读was/were S1: 学生根据图片内容尝试用句型Long long ago, there was /were …表达 2. 出示国王图片,学习clever, foolish, shout T:Long long ago, there was a man. Who is he Ss: 学习单词king T: Now we all know the story’s name is … Ss: The king’s new clothes. T: Please think about: Is the king clever or foolish Ss: Read and spell the new words. T: Show the pictures of 《狐假虎威》《龟兔赛跑》《守株待兔》Who is clever Who is foolish S1:故意让一名声音较轻的学生回答,然后让他试着shout 出来。 3. 播放视频,指导学生了解课文大意。 Watch the cartoon and pay attention on the intonation. 4. Fast reading. Read the story individually and try to find out: 1) the time: When did the story happen 2) the main characters: Who are in the story 5. Learn Paragraph 1. 1) Listen and answer: Why did the two men visit the king What did they say 2)Read it together. (pay attention to the pronunciation of the words: liked, visited) 6. Learn Paragraph 2: magic 1)read and complete the following sentence: According to the two men, the king’s new clothes are . Because .(learn: magic, clever, foolish) Listen and repeat. Try to act the two men. 7. Paragraph 3 and 4: read in pairs/groups and act. 1) The king walked through the city in his new clothes. Learn: walk through. 2)What did the people say Try to act and say. 3)What did the boy say Try to act and say 4)Learn the new words: shout, point at, laugh. And pay attention to the pronunciation of the words: looked, shouted, pointed, laughed, wear 5)What do you think of the boy and the people in the street Why Step 3 Practice 1. Follow the VCD. Read it together or by individual. 2. Read the new words together. 3. Show the pictures and try to retell the story 4. Finish the exercise on Page 8 5. Check. Step 4 Consolidation 1. Show Picture 1. Discuss Who are they What are they talking 鼓励学生想一想他们会可能说的话,越多越好。 2. Act the story in Picture 1 3. Act the other pictures with the same way. Step 5 Homework 1.
