一、教材分析:
本课选自外研版新标准英语三年级起点第三册,四年级上册Module 4 Unit1。本模块的主题是Food,主要语言功能是要求学生通过学习谈论有关食物的话题。它承接第二册已经学习过一些食物单词如meat, rice,noodles, fish基础上,继续展开话题,谈论 Do you want...主要学习Do you want some rice Yes, please./ No, thank you. Here are noodles with tomato and egg and noodles with meat and potato. What do you want 以及其答语.... please.等,并学会用课文中的句式进行点餐及应答,题材非常生活化,是学生感兴趣的话题之一,使学生能学以致用。
二、学情分析:
四年级的小学生对英语的学习已有一定的基础,再结合他们的身心发展特点:活泼、善于模仿、乐于表演,我在学习的过程中尽可能多地创造学生最喜欢的学习方式,如:创设情景、游戏、小组活动等较好的语言环境,给学生充足的语言“习得机会”,让学生大胆实践,积极参与,培养其积极的情感态度和在生活中用所学英语进行交流的能力。
三、教学目标(Teaching aims )
(一)知识目标(Knowledge aims):
1、学生会听、说、认读单词 :want、some、juice、ice、also、food、fast food、make、tomato、egg、potato.
2、学生能听懂、会说并会运用重点句型:“Do you want some ______ Yes ,please . /No, thank you .”就食物的选择向他人提问或回答他人。
(二)能力目标(Ability aims):
1、学生能根据情境正确使用句型Do you want some __ Yes ,please . /No, thank you .谈论并在实际情况下询问他人的选择进行点餐。
(三)情感目标(Emotional aims):
1、本节课设计形式多样的课堂活动,营造和谐、平等、宽松的课堂氛围,提升学生学习英语的兴趣。
2、通过两人、小组、互动合作学习,在真实环境中使用英语进行交际的积极性,提高学生的英语交流能力,增强团结协作意识3.通过呈现食物图片,浪费、珍惜粮食的图片及《悯农》这首古诗教育学生珍惜我们的食物,懂得“节俭光荣,浪费可耻”。
四、教学重难点(Teaching key and difficulty points)
(一)教学重点(Key points):1.学生能听、说、认读单词:want、some、juice、ice、also、food、fast food、make、tomato、egg、potato 。2.学生能够在真实的生活情境中正确运用句型“Do you want… ” 询问对方想吃什么并能根据自己的喜好做出相应的回答“Yes,please./No, thank you.” 。

1.用Here are... with ... .来介绍几种食物。
2.能运用所学句型进行扩展性的情景会话。

六、教学策略( Teaching strategies )
(一)以旧带新教学法:运用学生已有知识经验,在自由交流中自然导入。
(二)任务型教学法:通过英语小游戏,活跃学生思维,积极参与课堂学习活动。让学生带着问题看动画。通过看动画,听录音,感知文本内容,学会捕捉文中重要信息的技巧。
(三)通过角色表演小活动,增强对所学英语的体验, 培养正确运用所学英语解决实际问题的!
(四)情境创设法:创设合理的情境, 进行语言操练。

Words cards,food pictures,colorful smiling face and crying face signs, videos, PPTs, survey forms.
八、教学过程(Teaching procedures):
Step1 Warm-up
1、Greetings:
T:Hello,everyone.
Ss: Hello,Ms Zhao.
T:How are you today
Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And how are you
T:I’m fine, too. Thank you.
2、 Say a chant :
T: Ok,let’s chant《I like coffee》(师唱几句,引起大家的回忆)[Last term we learnt it ],do you remember it (播放三年级下册Module3Unit2活动四的动画视频,激发学生英语学习兴趣的同时有效复习I like/I don't like...句型,为接下来的Free talk做好了铺垫。)Show your hands: I like coffee. I like tea. I like cats and they like me. I like coffee. I like tea.I don’t like lions and they don’t like me.(师生拍手一起说唱来进行热身,将学生带入一个英语环境当中,同时边唱边跳能够使学生变得活跃)
3、Review: In this step,I’ll set a situation about “What’s in the box ”I pull out a magic box and tell the students “this is a magic bag.There are many delicious food in it .Can you guess what' s in it?Please look carefully.”I’ll use the cards to let the students review some words about food ,such as:rice, meat, noodles, bananas,pears and so on.I will show and ask them “Here are so much nice food. Do you like them Do you want them ”and then divide the students into four groups.Let them study hard to get the food they want ,for example:G1/2/3/4.

Step 2 Lead-in and presentation
1、In this step,I’ll show a picture of a fridge to introduce the new words .Open the fridge and have a look what are in the fridge.Then teach the new words .:juice、ice、tomato、egg、potato by different ways ,such as :read in pairs ,boys and girls PK reading,play a train,high and low voice,touch the words and so on.And then I show the pictures of noodles,egg,tomato,meat,potato one by one. Tell them here are noodles with tomato and egg and here are noodles with meat and potato.

2、Next I’ll play a game with the students:Magic eyes. When they see the word,read it loudly as quickly as they can. In this way, the students can review the keywords of this lesson .
4.Next we’ll have a free talk to present the key sentence patterns of this lesson“Do you want some ______ Yes ,please . /No, thank you .”For example: Now I’m hungry.I like rice very much,so I want some rice.What do you like What do you want I’ll ask some students:Do you want some rice/noodles with tomato and eggs/noodles with meat and potato If you like the food, You can say“Yes,please.”If you don’t like,you can say“No,thank you.”At the same time,I will help them understand the answers by showing the smiling and crying face signs and drawing the pictures.
Step 3 Text Leaning
1、I use the PPT to show the pictures and say: " Look they are our friend Amy and Daming. They are playing in the park. Now They are hungry. Do they want some food What do they want
Let's watch the video and answer the following questions.Q:What Chinese fast food do you want
2、This time,I’ll give the students three questions.Q1:Amy,do you want some rice Q2: Amy,do you want some noodles Q3:What kind of noodles do you want After listening,I will encourage and ask the students to answer the questions ,if anyone is better ,I will stick the food cards for their group.
3、Read after the tape.
Let listen and repeat,tell them please pay attention the pronunciation and intonation.
3、Read by themselves
I’ll give students 1mins to read the new lesson by themselves. And I’ll go around them to find that if they need my help. If there’s something wrong with them, I will try my best to help them overcome the problems. In this way, Students’ intonation will be improved.
4、It’s time to role play. Take out the headdresses of Amy and Daming.Give the students five minutes to practice with their partners,and then come to the front to show.if they are better ,I will stick the food cards for his group.

Step 4 Practice
I’ll show a turntable and play a game with the students.I turn the wheel,the student say“stop”,look at the food and make a dialogue.

The simple and popular English song can help students review and consolidate what they have learned .
Step 5 Production
I’ll set a situation of restaurant and show some food and a dialogue in the scene .In this part, the students can practice the key sentence patterns in a real situation.
订餐游戏,四个同学一组,创设去饭馆订餐的情境表演对话(一名服务员、三名顾客)学生进行对话:

I will prepare some plates,aprons and color pictures of food and give them a demonstration first. Then tell them to practise in e here and begin to show the dialogue.If they have a good show,I’ll stick some food cards for their groups.

2.Next I’ll show a video of food .Tell them :Please save our food.From now on,let’s do the Guangpan activity.
Let the students achieve the emotional aim with video.
Step6 Homework
Let students use the sentence " Do you want some... Yes, please. /No, thank you."to make a survey of family or friends.
